happy New Year Cowboys and cowboy families I'm Sara Gilbert's Canyons Wellness coordinator plenty of finish the school year strong videocast short and sweet this month as we are all settling back into the routine of family and schools at the beginning of the year is typically when we develop New Year's resolutions and goals like getting back to the gym even an exercise regimen eating healthy manager are finances better etc etc I would like us to think about caring for interpersonal well-being one way to do this is to reflect on our thought processes and start this year and a positive mindset so that we can manage and control our health and well-being do this year to start each day with two simple questions to yourself what am I most grateful for my life and one of my most looking forward to a daily basis matters study show how much Optima and optimism and hope and literally change our brain structures This research proves that grateful people are personally physically healthier and sleep better and who doesn't want that practicing gratitude and optimism empowers US during I'm so stressed and instilled a sense of control and gratitude stimulates the hypothalamus part of our brain which helps regulate stress and the ventral tegmental part of our brains reward and pleasure sister asking herself these two simple question daily allows us to look at life through a different lens despite the continuous stressors we all states try it thanks for watching and we hope you have a wonderful weekend and a great start to this year
