Summer Athletics Programs
SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATION OPENS ON MAY 1, 2024.
 
 
All three steps must be completed at least 24 hours BEFORE an athlete is allowed to participate.  
 
  • STEP 1 - ONLINE REGISTRATION AND CLEARANCE
    • It's simple!  Register online at https://www.homecampus.com/login to start the process.  Be sure to select "2024-25" and "Canyon/Canyon Country" when prompted.  You will be asked to create a username and password the 1st time you register.  This registration process will ask you to provide information such as emergency contact and medical insurance, having this information available will save you time.

    • If you do not have medical insurance, or if you'd like to purchase supplemental insurance, the district is offering a low-cost, medical/dental insurance plan.  This insurance is provided by Myers-Stevens and can be applied for at www.myers-stevens.com or pick up an application in the front office.
    • If you have a sibling that attends Canyon you must complete two separate registrations. 
 
  • STEP 2 - OBTAIN A SPORTS PHYSICAL
  •  
    • Print out the Canyon Athletics Physical form and get a Medical Doctor to complete the form. 
    • Upload your physical on https://www.homecampus.com/login (include both pages in a single pdf) .
    • Incoming Freshman please sign up for a physical through Exer using the form listed below.
    • Note: Physicals are good for 1 year from the date of the physical. Be sure to have all fields completed on the physical form including: the Physicians signature, the date the physical was completed and the medical office stamp.
 
  • STEP 3 - PAY FOR CAMP (you can pay before your physical is complete in order to avoid the late fee) 
    • Payments for camp can be made online and in person with cash, money order, Google/Apple Pay and credit/debit cards.. To pay online, use the following link:  Student Store - Summer Camps Deadline to register is June 21, 2024.  A late registration fee of $25 will apply after this date.

ATHLETIC REGISTRATION TIMELINE
 
  • May 1, 2024.   Summer Registration Opens.
  • June 17, 2024.  Start of Summer Camp.
  • June 21, 2024. Late fee of $25 attached after June 21, 2024
  • Dead Period June 3, 2024 - June 14, 2024 (No athletics will take place during this time)
It should be noted that:  There is no requirement of enrollment in a summer athletic camp to be on a team.  Enrollment in a summer athletic camp does not guarantee making an athletic team.  Families may take summer vacations during summer athletic camp.
 
*NOTE: Students interested in Swimming and Golf should contact our head coaches. Golf tryouts will be held when we come back to school, Coach Ingino will announce tryout dates in the daily bulletin. Swimming tryouts are usually held in October or November. Tryout dates will be posted in the daily bulletin. Go to our Athletic Directory to email the coaches.
