GENERAL
JUNIORS AND SENIORS: Those of you wishing to leave campus at lunch time remember that your ID is required. If you have forgotten your ID you will need to remain on campus until 1:00. At that time you will be allowed to leave with a copy of your student schedule.
NORTH OAKS PARK: No Canyon student or staff is allowed to park at the North Oak Park lot. The City of Santa Clarita will ask the Sheriff's Dept. to begin ticketing all vehicles illegally parked.
FOOD SERVICE: A student may purchase food without an ID. However, the State requires Food Service to ask for an ID to purchase CERTAIN food items. An ID will make service much faster. If a student does not have an ID, the student might be asked for their number and the cashier would have to punch it in themselves. This slows things down a bit. It is best to have an ID, but still, a student may purchase food without an ID. Thank you, and we are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.
BOOK DISCUSSION GROUP: The Book Discussion Group is starting this Friday. If you would like to read some great books and meet other students to chat about them, please come to our first meeting on Friday, August 22 at lunch in H1 (please note the new location). Bring your copy of Thirteen Reasons Why and we will discuss that and have suggestions for the next book. See you there.
SENIOR PARKING LOT: Tickets will be issued to students parked illegally in the student lot. You may only park in a personalized spot if it is yours! If you are parked in the senior parking lot your parking pass must be displayed or you will get a ticket!
ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS!! Starting immediately, it will cost $.10 per page to print from the computers in the library. Please try to have exact change. You may only print one copy of your item - No Class Sets.
REMINDER TO ALL STUDENTS: Textbook damage forms are due back to the textbook center by Sept. 5th. If you have lost the form you received at registration come to the textbook center to get another.
LOST FOLDER: Grey plastic folder full of papers. Please return to the office. Thank you.
WORK EXPERIENCE: All work experience students must attend the actual class during the first week of school. You will receive further instruction from Mr. Varner during class.
