Tobacco, Alcohol, Marijuana, Meth, Heroin, Ecstasy, and OTC Prescription Meds are just some of the drugs that are impacting the quality of life for Santa Clarita Families. The City of Santa Clarita and the Sheriff's Department will address this issue at the "Teen Talk Drugs: A Conversation with Captain Becker" on Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at 4:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall (23920 Valencia Boulevard).

Captain Paul Becker will be asking teens a series of questions about the Santa Clarita drug scene. This event is geared for teens and will provide them with the opportunity to advise local law enforcement in developing education, intervention, and enforcement programs to prevent the devastating impact that drugs can have on our community. Attendees will also have the opportunity to review and/or submit their answers to the questions online prior to the event at: santa-clarita.com/vip. Resources will be made available to teens during the event.
