Back-to-School Night!!

 

Dear Families and Guests:

 

As we begin our school year, Canyon High School’s faculty and staff extend a warm “welcome” to our annual Back-to-School Night Program on September 18, 2008.  We appreciate your attendance and look forward to this opportunity to meet with you and provide an overview of Canyon’s outstanding educational program.

 

The Back-to-School Night Program will begin at 6:45pm with presentations in the Outdoor Amphitheater by performance groups.  The formal program will continue with the Principal’s address, along with, introductions by PAC and ASB.   Parent(s) will then follow their child’s schedule from class to class.  Each member of the faculty has prepared a 10-minute presentation that will include course content, student expectations, and other pertinent information.  Because of obvious time constraints, we ask that parents contact their student’s teacher(s) and/or call the Counseling Office for a separate date and time for an appointment to discuss individual student concerns.

 

Informational tables include the Parent Advisory Council (PAC) and Counselors, along with various clubs and teams, and we encourage you to stop by their locations at any time during our program to learn more about their offerings and activities.  We hope your evening is both enjoyable and informative, and that you continue to be involved in “your” high school.
