To be sure your student is in the correct classes, here is the schedule for program changes, if needed:
12/11- "tentative" spring schedules given to students during per. 3 class
12/11, 12, & 15 - students may see counselor at lunch, any open periods (when they don't have a class) and from 3-4 PM
12/16, 17, & 18 - during finals, students may see counselor from 12:30-3 PM and during their open periods (ex. an 11th or 12th grader who doesn't have a per. 6 or 7)
Before the first day of school, there will be a PACE message to all families with updated information.
1/12 - students will be directed to their first period class to pick up their final schedule.
REMINDER: Be sure your student sees a counselor on the above dates, as there will be NO student-initiated program changes in January. Our goal is to have all students in correct classes on the first day of school, except for teacher-recommended changes and Master schedule changes.
"Students will receive their spring schedules on Dec. 11th during per.3. Students who have been assigned a wrong course or are missing a required course, must come to the Counseling office before Winter Break. Students may not come up during class time. Counselors will be available at lunch and from 3 to 4PM on Dec. 11, 12 and 15.
Counselors will also be available after finals on Dec. 16, 17, and 18 from 12:15 to 3PM.
Changes to spring schedules may be done by the student only and counselors will not be available for parent appointments, phone calls or e-mails regarding changing classes.
