You have all week to work on a final project for this class. It will be worth UP TO 30 points... depending on your time, effort and the quality of your final product.
Your animation should be at least 10 seconds long with unique animation sequences.

Sorry guys internet may be spotty today and there's construction going at my house so it SUPER NOISY... I may not be on Zoom the whole time.

Today I want you to watch the Edpuzzle on using motion Tweens in Wick Editor. After watching the video try it yourself. His example is VERY basic. You can create whatever you want and I encourage you to explore or even import assets from the internet.

5 points- Your animation must be 3 seconds long and display the use of tweening.

The goal of this assignment is to create a basic animation using the principles of squash and stretch. You will be using the web based Wick Editor to create this animation. I provided you with a sample that I have made as reference.

Step 1: Download the bounce template.jpg, open the Wick Editor website and start a new animation.
Upload the bounce template into the animation and add it to your canvas.
Resize the image so that it fills the canvas (be sure to hold SHIFT).

Step 2: Drag the length of the template layer to be 34 frames long.
Lower the opacity of the template layer and LOCK it so that you don't accidentally move it.

Step 3: Add a new layer and put it above the template.
Make a circle for the ball and line it up with the first image on the template. When it looks right copy the ball.
Click the plus for the next frame and paste the ball in. Line it up with the next image and repeat this process.
Take time to properly "squash and stretch" the ball in the proper frames.

Step 4: Save your work.

Step 5: Delete the template layer and export your file as a gif. Upload your finished ball bounce GIF to this assignment.

BONUS POINTS: Upload an alternative version of your portrait where you do a completely different background, change the colors and make some fun changed to the original.

During this assignment you'll be in a breakout room with a few other students so that you can discuss your answers and compare ideas on the article.
-- One group member will need to MAKE A COPY of the presentation and SHARE it with the rest of the group.
-- The slides with WHITE backgrounds will be answered as a group.
-- The slides with GRAY backgrounds can be answered by individual members.
Read and discuss together. ONE group member will turn in the presentation when complete.

You need a picture to use for our Google Drawing Selfie Thursday/Friday. I would encourage you to use a picture of yourself, but you can use a picture of a friend or family member. No celebrities, pets or cartoons for this project!

Upload 2-3 pictures as options for this project. Full-head not just the face and decent quality.

What makes a good selfie/portrait?
1) Lighting - Try to get natural light from a window (or outside). Highlights and shadow help add dimension to the face.
2) Angle - Turn/tilt your head slightly to get a more interesting look.
3) Avoid cropping - Get the entire head top to shoulders.
4) Uncluttered - What's in the background...keep it simple.

Step One:
Make a Portfolio FOLDER in Google Drive and Share it with me.
Get organized by putting the final work into a folder in Google Drive call it "Your Name DMA Portfolio" Put your finished projects in here and share the folder with me [email protected] Add the link to the folder in this assignment. If you are a photopea user I would also recommend using the document I included here to save your progress links (there is a tutorial video embedded in the document) Put the document into your portfolio folder. You are now more organized.

Step Two:
Record a Filpgrid video.
Pick one of your projects and tell me about your process and product in a 1-2 min flipgrid video. Do your best to answer the questions below in your video.
