GENERAL

THEATRE presents the hilarious musical, "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels." This Thurs, Fri, and Sat at 7 PM at the Golden Valley Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $15 or $12 w/ASB. Don't miss it!

SANTA CLARITA TRANSIT CHANGE:  Due to the construction at the Old Bowman Site, Santa Clarita Transit is going to close the south-bound stop on Whites Canyon, south of the intersection.  The stop will be relocated for the next three weeks to south-bound Whites Canyon, north of the intersection.    Alternately, if the sidewalk is open students may walk south and board the bus going south bound at White Canyon and Rainier.

"DIVE, DUCK, DODGE!  5 on 5 intramural Dodge Ball signups are taking place at both brunches in C-5.  Be the first to sign up. Only 12 teams will be allowed to compete!"

CHOIR AUDITIONS--If you are planning to join one of Canyon's fabulous choirs, you will need to audition.  Sign-ups are on the door of the A Lecture Hall!  The choirs will sing in Carnegie Hall in New York City next year, so you don't want to miss out on this and many other great experiences!   No extra preparation is necessary to audition.  

DANCE TEAM ANNUAL SHOW IS HERE "At the Drive-in" will be on Saturday May 16th at 7:00pm in the main gym. Come and support our great dancers. Tickets will be $10 and $8 with ASB card. Please do not miss this amazing show.

MEETINGS

Attention Cowboys!  The Chess Club, YU-GI-OH, and Magic club is actively recruiting new members!  Other board games available.  Stop by G-117 and ask Mr. Clark for more details!  We meet Wed and Friday in G-117 at lunch.

The last DFYIT meeting of the year will be held May 21 at lunch in H-1.  We will be having pizza.  If you plan to attend the meeting, it is very important that you let Mrs. Parks know by Monday May 18 so that we can make sure to order enough pizza. This meeting is only for students who have been DFYIT members this year.

SENIORS

SENIOR STARS:  Don’t forget! If you have been accepted to a 4-year college or university and plan on attending that school in the fall, please see Mrs. Hettema in the counseling office.  We will make a star in your honor and place it on the Senior Stars bulletin board outside of the counseling office.  Also, if you have received notice of any scholarships or awards, please let Mrs. Hettema know.

KEY CLUB:  SENIORS!!! Your Key Club hours for the spring semester is due no later than May 15 to Mr. Lee’s room in V-1.

SENIOR FINAL TRANSCRIPTS DUE BY JUNE 4th. Request one be sent to all Universities and Colleges you are interested in attending, including COC. White request forms are located in front of the Registrar's Office.  If you have any questions don't hesitate to come by and ask. Transcripts will be mailed out on June 18th.

SENIORS: ALL purchases can be made with cash, money orders, and credit cards only. NO checks please.

SENIORS: Have you enjoyed your time at Canyon?  Will you be hard to forget?  The staff at Canyon is offering a scholarship to a deserving Cowboy.  Applications are in the Counseling office.

TODAY is the last chance to apply...

This scholarship is for male athletes with a 2.5 to 3.5 cumulative GPA. If you are also planning on attending college or trade school, visit the counseling office for an application for the Tim and Danny Renolds Memorial Scholarship. This simple application could get you a $500 award! Application deadline is May 7th (3pm). Get your application today!

ATTENTION ALL SENIORS ATTENDING GRAD NIGHT!  Permission slips are due on Wednesday, May 13 by 1:00 pm in the ASB Office.  The permission slips are necessary to attend Grad Night at Disneyland!

SENIORS!  Are you planning to attend College of the Canyons in the fall of 2015?  College of the Canyons will be on Campus on May 11th during 5th period to help you with any last minute questions you might have.  If you are interested in attending please come to the Counseling Office and sign up for the workshop!!!
