PROM TICKET SALES: Buy your Prom tickets before, school, after school, brunch or lunch.        March 25-March 30---Price is $245 per couple FLAT RATE.  Single tickets sold for ½ couple price.

A great way to get community service hours is volunteering at Safe Rides.  There will be training for new volunteers --Saturday MARCH 28th at NOON. --At the City Activity Center--Go to scvsaferides.com for all the information. PLEASE – IF YOU HAVE YOUR LICENSE – WE NEED YOU! REMEMBER DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE. DON’T RIDE WITH AN UNSAFE DRIVER--CALL SAFE RIDES 259-6330.  FRIDAY & SATURDAY FROM 10PM TO 2AM--IT’S a FREE RIDE!

CONGRATULATIONS to MUSKAN PARASHAR (for Phil, this is pronounced moose-con par-uh-shar) for being selected for the California All State Honor Choir!  She was selected from hundreds of students who auditioned.  Muskan will be in rehearsals all day Thursday and Friday and will perform with the choir on Saturday afternoon in Pasadena.  Way to shine, Muskan!

ATTENTION ATHLETES who want to participate in the CHS summer camps.  Registration packets are now available in the ASB office.  Please complete ASAP if you want to participate.

NEXT WEEK IS X WEEK - let's celebrate a drug/alcohol free lifestyle - there will be activities at brunch each day next week, as well as a poster/banner to sign pledging to remain drug/alcohol free.  Please join us by participating in the X-Week activities.

LMU COLLEGE FIELD TRIP:  The Canyon Counseling Dept. is hosting a field trip to Loyola Marymount University (LMU) on Tuesday, April 14.  The cost is $10 and the bus will leave the school at 8:00am and will return to Canyon at 2:00pm.  Registration is limited to 50 students. For registration forms and more information, please come to the Counseling Office and see Mrs. Hettema or Mrs. Devoe.

MEETINGS

The SPEECH AND DEBATE TEAM will be meeting every Monday starting September, 15th in Room E-5. 

HEY CSF MEMBERS!  There will be a meeting TODAY at lunch in the Library.  Please stop by!  See you there!

Seniors

Are you planning on attending College of the Canyons in the Fall of 2015?  If you are, please consider attending College Day on Friday, April 24^th.  College of the Canyons will provide expert guidance on getting started, how to earn priority registration, workshops on assessment preparation, transfer requirements, classroom expectations, campus involvement and much more!  Bus transportation from Canyon High School to College of the Canyons will be provided, and it is mandatory for you to ride the bus in order to attend the fieldtrip.   Lunch will be provided. 

Please sign-up in the Counseling Office and pick up a fieldtrip permission slip. 

There are only 150 spots and its first come first serve.

Busses will leave Canyon High School at 8:15am and return at 1:15pm. 

                                   Fieldtrip Forms are due on April 3^rd 

SENIORS:  If you have a 2.5 GPA and attended school in the Santa Clarita Valley for at least 7 years (including at least one year at the elementary school level) you should apply for the $500 ASCA Scholarship. A link for the application can be found on Canyon's website, on the Counseling Blog and
