GENERAL
ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS: Please DO NOT come up to the Counseling Office to try to look at or change your spring semester schedule. Schedules will be handed out next Thursday in your 2nd period class. You will be able to request changes on Thursday or Friday by using the green program change form.
STUDENTS, if you are planning on attending Winter Formal, but have violated the new Attendance Privilege Program by having over 30 tardies or 15 truancies in the fall semester, you must visit the SRC and fill out an appeal as to why you should be able to attend. These appeals will be accepted and reviewed prior to the dance.
If you are on the non-dance list, but would still like to purchase a ticket at the low prices they are right now, you may do so, but those tickets will be held until the appeal is reviewed.
COC COLLEGE REPRESENTATIVE ON CAMPUS: A COC college representative will be on our campus Monday, Dec. 8. You will learn about the admission requirements for summer/fall 2015, certificates and associates degrees, transfer preparation and programs, College Now for high school students, student support services and much more. If you would like to attend the meeting, please sign up in the Counseling Office. The meeting will be held during 4th period in Room H-1.
SOFTBALL TRYOUTS for the Spring Season will be held on Monday, December 8th at 3:30pm
at Sierra Vista. If you are interested in trying out, please see either Mrs. Meschkat in room AA-2 or Ms. Hoggatt in room B-3 to sign up.
NO STUDENT SUMMONS DURING FINAL EXAMS: STUDENTS please note there are NO student summons delivered during Final Exams. Please DO NOT call your parents and ask them to excuse you early for any reason. The Attendance Office WILL NOT deliver student summons during Final Exams to remove you from class. ALL students need to stay during the entire exam period out of respect for all the other classes in exams.

COACH GUTIERREZ is having a meeting for RETURNING, TRANSITIONING, & INTERESTED Varsity Football Players next Tuesday (December 9th) at 2:15pm in Room G-210.
HELPING HANDS BOOK DRIVE: Now through TODAY Helping Hands will be doing a book drive. Bring your gently used books to C7 during first bunch or lunch and they will be donated to the Canyon Country Public Library. For every 3 books donated, you will receive one hour of community service
BOYS TENNIS TRYOUTS will be December 10, 11 and 12 starting after school at 3:10 pm. Meet at the tennis courts. Before tennis tryouts please see Coach Bristow in room K6 to place your name on the tryout list and get information about the joining the team.
MEETINGS
The CANYON ROLEPLAYING club will be meeting this Friday in room K-3 from 3 to 7 to play the Pathfinder roleplaying game. New players are welcome!
SENIORS
DIPLOMA NAME LIST: All seniors need to check the diploma name list posted in the display case outside the Counseling Office to make sure their name is spelled correctly and that it is their legal name. If you find an error, please see Mrs. Hettema in the Counseling Office as soon as possible so that a correction can be made. Otherwise, your name will appear on your diploma as it is written on this list. All changes and corrections need to be made by 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 18, 2014. Copies of birth certificates are required for all changes!
