NEWS ABOUT THE CSF LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE: Attention current CSF members! We have room for 5 more for this great conference. Since the bus has been cancelled, we're taking a van. The price for the trip is reduced to $25.00, which is the cost of the conference registration. See Mrs. Hermelin ASAP to get the permission slip.

 

CHOIR CONCERT--Come to Golden Valley's Performing Arts Center on Wednesday and Thursday, October 8th & 9th at 7:30 p.m. as the choir presents, "A Night in Hollywood"!  You will hear some great music and have a ton of fun!  Tickets are on sale now from Mrs. Purdy in either the A lecture Hall or the Q Choir room.  Tickets are $7 for adults (or students without an ASB card) or $5 for students with an ASB card. 

 

EVERY TUESDAY in the library from 3-4pm, students can receive assistance with understanding their biology and chemistry classes.  Students will have access to websites and videos that support what they are learning in class.

COSMETOLOGY--WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE A LICENSED COSMETOLOGIST?

~~Would You Like To Save Thousands of Dollars? ~~Then the ROP Cosmetology Program might be for you! There will be a short information meeting regarding the ROP Cosmetology Program on Wednesday, October 8th at 12:30 in the ROP office.  All students, regardless of grade, are encouraged to attend.  Please bring your lunch and be ready to learn what it takes to enroll in this very exciting program.

 

REMINDER TO ALL DFYIT members - turn in your permission slips to Mrs. Parks in A-3 for the Summit ASAP.  If you have lost your permission slip, or need another one, please see Mrs. Parks.

COLLEGE VISITS ON CAMPUS!   Find the right MATCH for you!  We have several colleges that will be on campus, in H-1, during 5th period to meet with REACH classes.  If you would like to meet with the reps and learn more please come to H-1 in the first 10 minutes of lunch.

CHECKMATES CHESS CLUB YU-GI-OH and Vanguard and other board games meets every Wednesday and Friday in G-117.  Bring your lunch.  Questions, see Mr. Clark in G-117.

 

THE ROLEPLAYING CLUB will be meeting to play the pathfinder roleplaying system in room K-3 on Friday from 3 to 7 pm.   New players are welcome!

SENIORS- The Horatio Alger Scholarship is available to students pursuing a bachelor's degree at an accredited non-profit public or private institution in the U.S. or a two-year institution with the goal of transferring to a four-year institution.
