CHOIR CONCERT--Come to Golden Valley's Performing Arts Center on Wednesday and Thursday, October 8th & 9th at 7:30 p.m. as the choir presents, "A Night in Hollywood"! You will hear some great music and have a ton of fun! Tickets are on sale now from Mrs. Purdy in either the A lecture Hall or the Q Choir room. Tickets are $7 for adults (or students without an ASB card) or $5 for students with an ASB card.

COSMETOLOGY--WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE A LICENSED COSMETOLOGIST?
~~Would You Like To Save Thousands of Dollars? ~~Then the ROP Cosmetology Program might be for you! There will be a short information meeting regarding the ROP Cosmetology Program on Wednesday, October 8th at 12:30 in the ROP office. All students, regardless of grade, are encouraged to attend. Please bring your lunch and be ready to learn what it takes to enroll in this very exciting program.

MEETINGS
CHEMISTRY Club will be meet this Thursday at lunch in K-5. Come join us in bidding farewell to a Play station console via the thermite reaction.
SOS MEMBERS AND ANYONE THAT IS INTERESTED—There is a meeting Thursday in G-217 at lunch. Help support SOS! Bring in any used or new fall/winter apparel: scarves, beanies, mittens, and coats. Any donation, no matter how big or small, means the world to those in need. Bring any donated items to Mrs. Gibb’s room, G-217.
THE NEW BIBLE talk club, Truth be Told, will meet every Wednesday in room A-7. Everyone is invited. There will be pizza every other week.

SENIORS- The Horatio Alger Scholarship is available to students pursuing a bachelor's degree at an accredited non-profit public or private institution in the U.S. or a two-year institution with the goal of transferring to a four-year institution. Students must demonstrate critical financial need and hold a minimum GPA of 2.0. The application deadline is October 25, 2014. To learn more and apply, visit
