HOMECOMING IS HERE CANYON COWBOYS. Make sure to buy your tickets for “A Journey through Disney” Saturday, September 20th from 7-11 pm. Tickets are $10 w/ an ASB card, $15 without, and $20 at the door. Guest tickets are $20 and due by Wednesday, Sept. 17, by lunch. Don’t miss out!
HELLO COWBOYS! Do your part and help the environment! Drop off your sealed alkaline, lithium and rechargeable batteries in K-5 (Mr. Downs' room) at lunch. Only separated and Ziploc packaged batteries will be accepted.
PSAT STUDY GUIDES AVAILABLE: If you are taking the PSAT test, please come up to the Counseling Office today to pick up a copy of the PSAT Study Guide. The test will be given on Saturday, October 18 at 7:45 am.
SEPTEMBER IS NATIONAL HUNGER AWARENESS MONTH. Join Cheer, Football and ASB in our month long food drive. With your donations of canned food or personal hygiene items, we can help support the local food banks. Boxes are located in the front office or you can bring any donations to our home game on Friday, September 19th. No one deserves to go hungry. Let’s show our community that Canyon High is committed to helping end hunger. Donate today!
COLLEGE OF THE CANYONS CAREERS ON THE GO WORKSHOP SERIES! The Culinary Arts workshop will be held on Thursday, September 18th, 2014 from 6:00PM-7:30PM at the COC Valencia Campus in Mentry Hall Room 343.
THE HART SCHOOL DISTRICT’S FOURTH ANNUAL COLLEGE AND CAREER FAIR on Wednesday evening, September 17th from 6:30-9:00 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Valencia. Because of the popularity of our fair, the event will be open to juniors and seniors only. Over 100 representatives from 2-year and 4-year universities, career technical schools and apprenticeship programs will be participating. MEETINGS
STUDENT TASK FORCE is meeting today in G-201, Mr. Jackson's room. This year we are focusing on the Conventions of the Rights of the Child, and working to get our country to support this international convention. Come learn what the rights of children are, and what you can do to help further those rights in G-201 at lunch today.
BRAINSTORMERS: Brainstormers is a competitive academic team that is challenging and fun. We need students from each grade level to compete. If you enjoy trivia games or Jeopardy, come to our first meeting TODAY at lunch in A-5.
