GENERAL

 

ATTENTION ALL SENIORS AND JUNIORS--Prom Tickets are on sale!!  Hurry and buy your tickets today!!  Ticket prices are now $235 per couple BUT go up Wednesday, April 2 to $245 a couple.  April 4 is the last day to apply for a guest pass.

 

HEY YOU!  NOT YOU! THE GUY NEXT TO YOU! Are you talented? If you have talent be it singing, stand-up comedy, slam poetry, or anything you feel comfortable doing in front of the people of Canyon High, come audition for Canyon Theatre's Variety Night on Tuesday April 15th in the Q Choir Room. For more information, talk to Mrs. P in the B-lecture hall.

 

JUNIORS AND SENIORS POWDERPUFF is right around the corner and applications are available outside of the ASB office! Turn in applications to the ASB office by April 4th!!

 

HEY COWBOYS Want to get some sweetheart chocolates?  Well your choir is selling them for 50 cents each after school, so come get your delicious white chocolate lolli-pops!  Come to A-Lecture Hall to get some!! 

 

THE COUNSELING DEPARTMENT is going to the National College Fair on May 1st.  There will be over 200 colleges in attendance.  If you would like to attend, the cost is 10 dollars.  Only sixty students will be able to attend, so stop by the counseling office today!

 

SUPPORT THE SHOE CREW by eating at Route 66 TODAY!!!  All Day!!!!  Help us raise money to buy shoes for underprivileged kids! 

 

SUMMER SCHOOL APPLICATIONS ARE NOW AVAILABLE. If you are planning on going to summer school at Golden Valley, you must print out the forms.  The forms can be found on the counseling blog, canyoncounselor.blogspot.com.  You will find "summer school forms" as a permanent link on the right hand side. –--If you are planning on attending Opportunities for Learning (OFL), please see your counselor.  They have the forms you need.  All of summer school is based on a first come, first placed basis.  Don't procrastinate.  Get your paperwork in as soon as possible to guarantee a spot!

MEETINGS

 

THE BELIEVE CLUB is meeting this Wednesday in room F-2 at lunch.  New members are welcome –so come join the fun!

 

ANIME CLUB is meeting today in room G-220. Hope to see you there!"

 

CHECKMATES CHESS CLUB and YU-GI-OH Club meet every Wednesday and Friday and G-117.  Bring your lunch. Questions ask Mr. Clark

 

COME GET YOUR CLUB ON!  Your Bible club, that is!  There will be home-baked goodies and fantastabular conversations about the Bible and related topics.  Come this Thursday at lunch to the A Lecture Hall.

 

THE CANYON ROLEPLAYING CLUB will be meeting in room G-107 on Friday April 4th from 3:00 to 7:00 pm to play the Pathfinder roleplaying system.   New players are welcome!

Your Graduation Announcement orders are here!

Jostens will be on campus “ONE DAY ONLY” to deliver your graduation announcement order.  Please pick up your order on: Thursday, April 3rd    --- Brunches and Lunch     On the Outdoor Stage

COC is offering a $500 scholarship to a senior that plans to attend COC.  If you are planning to attend COC in the fall and have at least a 2.0 GPA, please pick up a scholarship application in the counseling office.  The application is due back to Mrs. Goller by April 4th.

 

SENIOR SCHOLARSHIP:  The Santa Clarita Valley Association of School Administrators is offering a scholarship to one Canyon Senior.  In order to apply you need to have at least a 2.5 GPA, have plans to attend a college or program after graduation, and have attended schools in Santa Clarita for at least seven years.
