GENERAL

 

JAZZ POP:  Hey Cowboys, there is no party like a Jazz/Pop party, so come celebrate it with the choirs, Jazz Ensemble, and soloists on Friday, March 21 at 7:30 pm, or on Saturday, March 22 at 6:30 pm.  Both concerts are in the main GYM!  Tickets go on sale on Monday, March 17!  They are $7 without an ASB card, or $5 with an ASB or for senior citizens.  Children under 10 get in for free!  So come celebrate with the choirs and purchase a ticket from a choir student or Mrs. Purdy.  Hope to see you there!  p.s. You can get a sneak peek of the concert tomorrow night at Open House!

SENIORS

 

ATTENTION ALL SENIORS!!  Prom Tickets have officially gone on sale!!  The first 100 girls to purchase their tickets will be entered in a raffle to win free hair and make-up on the day of the Prom!  Hurry and buy your tickets today!!  Ticket prices are $200 with an ASB card and $210 without.

 

SENIOR SCHOLARSHIP:  The Santa Clarita Valley Association of School Administrators is offering a scholarship to one Canyon Senior.  In order to apply you need to have at least a 2.5 GPA, have plans to attend a college or program after graduation, and have attended schools in Santa Clarita for at least seven years.

 

THE CALIFORNIA ALARM ASSOCIATION is offering $40,000 in scholarships to seniors with a parent or guardian that is a full time member of a law enforcement agency.  If you have a parent or guardian that is a full time paid or volunteer member of a fire department you are also eligible to apply.  Please pick up an application in the counseling office.  Applications must be postmarked by March 31st.

 

COC is offering a $500 scholarship to a senior that plans to attend COC.  If you are planning to attend COC in the fall and have at least a 2.0 GPA, please pick up a scholarship application in the counseling office.  The application is due back to Mrs. Goller by April 4th.
