GENERAL

Attention students . . .

Did you know Canyon has a new Mission Statement?

It reads:

"Our mission is to develop responsible citizens who have the knowledge, skills, and experience necessary for either beginning post-secondary education or entering the workforce"

When you graduate - will you have what it takes to start your career?  Will you be ready for college?

If you are unsure about the answer to either of these questions, schedule a meeting with you counselor and/or career advisor today.  We can help . . .

ATTENTION CANYON HIGH SCHOOL WINTER SPORTS ATHLETES:

If you are in an athletic class and your sport has ended, that does not mean you may leave campus during 7th period.  Your athletic class is still counted in attendance and for a grade, so only excused absences allow you to leave campus.  Do not try to exit through the main office or through the gates by showing your winter sport sticker.  Lower level athletes must check in with the varsity team to watch practice or work in the designated meeting spot.

AP TEST SALES INFORMATION and envelopes will be sent to your 1st AP class of the day on Thursday February 27th. Sales will be from March 3rd-March 14th. AP bulletins are available in the counseling office.

WINTER FORMAL PICTURES:  Are available to pick up at Brunch and Lunch in J-1.

CANYON CHEER is collecting anything and everything that can be donated to their program.  Items can include home goods, clothing, picture frames, candle holders, etc.  Please bring these items to G214 or the AP Office.

ACADEMY OF THE CANYONS:  You can earn college credits now and get a jump start on your future.  Make a change and be a part of a unique, rewarding high school experience!  If you would like to learn more about Academy of the Canyons Middle College High School, you and your parents are invited to attend an information meeting on Wednesday, February 26 in the COC University Center Room 258 at 7:00 p.m.
