HEY COWBOYS!  Next week is our 3rd annual Career in Arts week here at Canyon!  To prepare our art students for career or college readiness we offer a week to introduce them to professionals in the arts, where they will share their experiences and the journey they took to get into their chosen field.  This year we have an artist, composer, sound engineer, professional singers, etc. that will speak to our classes about their career.  These speakers will be in our classes, but there may be students that wish to attend that don't have their art class during the particular time. We will have a permission slip that you will need to sign to allow them to miss your class and attend.  There shouldn't be many students that will do this but it is your choice to allow or not.  I won't even call you a dream crusher this year.  :) We always have such great speakers (Big thanks to Mary!) and the kids love hearing from professionals that are doing what they love!   Please email me with any questions, Thanks!
