GENERAL
BASKETBALL GREEN AND GOLD: Come out this Friday night @ 7:00pm to the main gym for this year's annual Green & Gold Basketball Rally. Come show your support for the 2013-2014 boys and girls Varsity basketball teams. There will be games and entertainment. See you then.
CANYON THEATRE PRESENTS: An evening of award winning scenes. The Adventures in Acting Class will present work from their most recent competition at the Repertory East Playhouse in Newhall this Thursday, November 21 at 7 PM. don’t miss this hour of ridiculous comedy and gripping drama. See Mrs. P in the B-Lecture Hall for more info.
BOYS TENNIS TRYOUTS are this Friday 22nd, at 3.15 pm. Sign up with Coach Yong in room F-1. All returners must still come to tryout. Please bring your own racket.
STUDENTS: If you have had to change your shirt due to Dress Code Violations and have NOT picked up your shirts/tops before winter break they will be discarded.
HEY COWBOYS—NATIONAL ENGLISH HONOR SOCIETY is having a school wide Toy Drive for the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Earn community service by helping a patient in need this Holiday Season. Two big toys are 1 hour and 4 small toys are 1 hour. Please bring donations to C-1. There is a max of 3 hours per person.
BASEBALL TRYOUTS will be held after school on Wed and Thursday ...November 20th and 21st...stop by room B-5 if you need more information.

HEY NATIONAL ENGLISH HONOR SOCIETY MEMBERS: We have a mandatory meeting TODAY in C-1 at lunch.
CHECKMATES CHESS CLUB and YU-GI-OH Club meet every Wednesday and Friday and G-117. Bring your lunch. Questions ask Mr. Clark
BIBLE CLUB--Every Thursday at lunch, the Bible Club will meet in the A Lecture Hall. We'll have food and great discussions about the Bible and life.
THE BOOK CLUB meets this Friday at lunch in the library. All are welcome.

SENIORS
SENIORS: There will be a very important Financial Aid meeting on the late start Wednesday, December 4th, at 8 am in the Q Theater. If you plan to go to a 2 year, 4 year, or trade school after graduation, you should plan to attend! Most of our scholarships become available second semester. We will be handing out an application that will qualify you for at least 15 scholarships that are available to only Canyon students. We will also discuss in detail how to apply for financial aid. If you can’t make this meeting, make sure to visit the counseling office.
