CLASS RING ORDER:  JUNIORS!  It’s time for your class to order their class rings.  Your class ring will rank high in the commemoratives of your 2015 High School Graduation.

YOUR JOSTENS REPRESENTATIVE WILL BE ON CAMPUS FOR YOUR CLASS RING ORDER ON:

                                    A-M Thursday, Oct. 10th

                                    N-Z  Friday, Oct. 11th   

                                    During Brunches and Lunch

                                    On the Outdoor Stage

               

Ordering information is available in the ASB Office NOW!!  OR visit www.jostens.com for an online catalog to DESIGN, VIEW, and PRINT your order form!  Bring your $60.00 deposit and internet order form.  All internet order forms will receive $20 OFF!! (Excludes “P” rings).

Also, EVERY JUNIOR ordering on these order days will receive a FREE 2015 Companion Ring!!

We will personally size every student’s finger at the order table!!  See you there!!

 Then the ROP Cosmetology Program might be for you!

 There will be a short information meeting regarding the ROP Cosmetology Program on Friday, October 4th at lunch (12:30) in the ROP office.

 All students, regardless of grade, are encouraged to attend.  Please bring your lunch and be ready to learn what it takes to enroll in this very exciting program.

 

Have you thought about going to college?  Would you like to learn more about colleges?  We DO have several colleges reps who will be here at CANYON!  Go to H-1 during 5th period for a presentation OR during the first 20 minutes of lunch if you have questions and would like to know more:

MEETINGS

 

ATTENTION CSF MEMBERS:  There will be a general meeting at lunch TODAY.  This meeting is mandatory and attendance will be checked.

 

CHECKMATES CHESS CLUB and YU-GI-OH Club meet every Wednesday and Friday and G-117.  Bring your lunch. Questions ask Mr. Clark

 

OPERATION US: Valley View and Mint Canyon permission slips will be collected at a brief Operation US meeting on Wednesday October 9th at lunch in E3. Also, if you have not signed up for Operation US text reminders please see Ms. Mast in E3.

 

FCA is meeting TODAY in room G 206 at lunch. 

 

The BOOK CLUB meets TODAY @ lunch in the library. New members are always welcome.

 

ANY ENVIROMENTALISTS OUT THERE?  If so, come to the L.E.A.F. Club meeting in room F-4 on Monday’s at lunch.  If you can’t make the meeting, but would like to do the volunteer work, contact Mr. Motherspaw.  Hope to see you at our first meeting Monday, October 14.

SENIORS: The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern California will fund 109 scholarships to high school seniors this year as part of an ongoing commitment to education. If you are a legal U.S. resident with a minimum 2.7 GPA, you may apply! Go to www.rmhc.org for the application. January 21, 2014 is the application deadline.
