GENERAL

 

ATTENTION! Come and support the dance team fundraiser. We are doing a Photo Booth from 6:30-8:30 at today's game. We are only charging $5 a sitting and the photos will be printed with "Canyon Homecoming 2013". Hope to see you there.

 

HEALTH OFFICE:  When you are ill, you must get a pass from your teacher to come up to the Health Office.  It is there that contact will be made with your parents/guardians to arrange for you to go home.  Do not call or text your parents or guardians from the classroom expecting to be summoned to the Health Office. 

 

ATTENTION--All Freshmen who are going to participate on the Freshmen Homecoming float –you MUST attend a MANDATORY rehearsal today at lunch in E-3.

 

MAKE UP PICTURE DAY! SEPTEMBER 23 RD If you didn't take your picture at registration, or are unhappy with the pictures you did take, come before school, Brunch or Lunch in H-1.

PICK UP YOUR SCHOOL PICTURES in the ASB classroom—before school, brunch and lunch.

 

HOMECOMING TICKETS ARE ON SALE-- $15 with an ASB card and $20 without until Friday lunch. $20 at the door, Saturday 7-11pm in the main gym.

 

KEY CLUB registration papers are due TODAY, Turn them in to V-1 and pick up your Key Club magazine. 

 

CSF will be meeting in H1 at lunch on Monday the 23rd. This is a mandatory meeting for all members.

AUDITIONS for the Canyon High Improv Team will be TODAY after school. For those that have a free 7th period, we'll begin at 2 PM. Everyone else is welcome to stop by at 3 PM. In the B-Lecture Hall. Any questions, ask Mrs. P.

MEETINGS

 

BOOK CLUB meets this Friday at lunch in the library. New members are always welcome.

 

BIBLE CLUB---Every Thursday at lunch, the Bible Club will meet in the A Lecture Hall.  We'll have food and great discussions about the Bible and life.  Come and meet some great people and be part of this exciting club!

 

First official DFYIT meeting will be held at lunch next Thursday,  September 26.  Bring your lunch and join us in Room E4 - come join the fun - DFYIT is more than just a club, if is a lifestyle choice!

 

SENIORS

 

ARE YOU INTERESTED IN GOING TO UCLA? For the first time, UCLA will be having a FALL OPEN HOUSE.  You may tour the campus, learn more about applying for admission and financial aid, and hear about academic programs and student life at UCLA. Saturday, September 28th--9:00 AM - 1:30 PM

Pauley Pavilion, UCLA Campus--(Check In and light continental breakfast begins at 8:00 AM)

SENIORS!  The California State University (CSU) is proud to host its third annual CSU College Night on Tuesday, September 24, 2013, from 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm, at the Pasadena Convention Center, 300 E. Green Street, Pasadena, CA 91101.

Please take advantage of this once a year opportunity to meet and speak with representatives from all 23 CSU campuses. Informative workshops regarding admissions, financial aid, and the CSU Mentor application will also be offered! This free event is open to students, parents, families, and educators. (NOTE: Parking at the Pasadena Convention Center is $10/vehicle.)
