GENERAL

 

KEY CLUB registration papers are due September 20th, Turn them in to V-1 and pick up your Key Club magazine. 

 

SAVE A LIFE COWBOYS.  Donate blood.  See Ms. King in G-105 for details. 

 

AUDITIONS for the Canyon High Improv Team will be this Friday after school. For those that have a free 7th period, we'll begin at 2 PM. Everyone else is welcome to stop by at 3 PM. In the B-Lecture Hall. Any questions, ask Mrs. P.

 

ATTENTION STUDENTS:  Free and reduced lunch applications are due AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.  Turn the forms in to Mrs. Cheever in the Health Office.

 

DO YOU VOLUNTEER A LOT?  Would you like to win a trip to Washington DC and $1,000? NATIONAL ENGLISH HONOR SOCIETY: Attention all NEHS Officer Applicants.  Officer applications are due no later than TODAY in C-1.

 

MEETINGS

 

TRI M, THE MUSIC HONOR SOCIETY--If you are a potential member for the Tri M, Music Honor Society, please remember to turn in your paperwork by Wednesday, Sept. 18th.  Elections will be held at today's meeting at lunch in room S3.  Be there for this very important meeting!

 

DFYIT kick off will be TODAY at lunch time - come get involved - There will be a Deejay, performances, games, and more!  Come by and learn about DFYIT, more than just a club!

 

ANIME CLUB is meeting today at lunch in room G-220.

SENIORS

 

ATTENTION SENIORS!  All seniors in the Hart District are encouraged to participate in a speech scholarship competition sponsored by the Santa Clarita Valley Bar Association. The topic for the competition is: "How should the United States Immigration Policies be Reformed and Implemented?"

All interested students must submit a written copy of their speech by the October 4th deadline to Canyon's Counseling Office. (There is a max. time limit for the speech of 5 minutes.) Prizes are $750, $500 & $250. Please see the flyers in the Counseling Office for more information.
