GENERAL
YEARBOOK DISTRIBUTION: Yearbooks will be distributed from 2:30-3:30 in the main gym TODAY. Students must bring their ID cards in order to claim their yearbooks. Make-up distribution will be Tuesday and wed at lunch. Yearbooks are still available for $100 in ASB.
FUTURE APES students will need to pick up the summer assignment with Mr. Yong in room F-1 at lunch TODAY.
LIBRARY: The last day to return all library materials is May 21st. Make sure to find your books and get them back to the library by then!
ATTENTION: Anyone interested in trying out for the boy's basketball team this summer needs to show up to the main gym at Lunch Next Wednesday, May 22 and Thursday, May 23rd. For additional information come by G-208.
IT IS TIME TO LOCATE YOUR TEXTBOOKS AND RETURN THEM TO THE TEXTBOOK CENTER. Where are they?? You ask yourself…Well-- have you looked behind the couch? Could it be in the dog’s bed? Is it in a classroom here at Canyon?? OR how about cleaning out your car –including the trunk and under the seats? Don’t forget turn in all Library materials by TOMORROW.
CANYON DANCE TEAM TRYOUTS ARE BACK! Missed tryouts last time? Don't despair! You can still try out for the Award-Winning Canyon Dance Team! Don't know how to dance but think you've got what it takes? We want to see your moves! Whether you are an experienced dancer or a new-comer, there is a place for you on the dance team. Come by the front office and pick up an information packet. Dance tryouts are TODAY in the Canyon auxiliary gym from 3 to 5 p.m. We hope to see you there!
Smile Club - last meeting of the year - come to B-7 at lunch on Monday, May 20th. See you there!
Roleplaying Club will be meeting for the final time this year on Friday, may 31st at 12:30 to 5 pm in K4. We will be playing the pathfinder roleplaying system. Newcomers are welcome!
ATTENTION SENIORS:
Final Transcript requests are due ASAP, and no later than Friday, May 31st – the last day of the school year, in order for us to mail them out on time by June 15th.
If you want any transcripts mailed to your home, just write down how many you would like on the white Final Transcript request form, and be sure to include a SELF ADDRESSED STAMPED ENVELOPE for EACH transcript you request. In other words, if you want three transcripts mailed to your home, you must supply to us three self-addressed stamped envelopes along with your white Final Transcript request form.
Also, please be sure to complete a white Final Transcript request form for each college you want your transcript mailed to. It is very important to write down the correct name and address of the college of your choice.
If you have any questions, you are welcome to stop by the Registrar’s Office.
ATTENTION ALL ATHLETES. All lockers must be cleaned out by Friday May 31st before 11am. Anything left in the lockers after that point will be nonreturnable and donated to good will. Please remove your lock, clean out any possessions, and remove any stickers, etc. that may be on your locker. Lockers that are left damaged will be assessed a maintenance fee.
ATTENTION ALL STUDENTSIN PHYSICAL EDUCATION:. Your last day of dress is Friday May 24th. We will be cleaning out lockers on Tuesday May 28th. Please bring any bags you may need on that day to clean out your locker. You will be cleaning out your locker and turning in your lock during your PE class period.
FUTURE APES STUDENTS: Please pick up your summer assignment today at lunch in Room F-1 from Mr. Young if you haven’t done so already.
