NO STUDENT SUMMONS DURING STAR TESTING:  STUDENTS please note, there are NO student summons delivered during STAR TESTING.  Please DO NOT call your parents and ask them to excuse you early for any reason.  The Attendance Office WILL NOT deliver student summons during STAR TESTING to remove you from class.  All students need to stay during the entire STAR TESTING period out of respect for other classes that are testing.

IMPORTANT REMINDER:  Are you arriving to your classes late?  If so, your attendance record could make you ineligible to take a 1st period class in the future.  Please ensure you’re arriving to all your classes on time every day.

SPRING ACADEMIC CEREMONY:  Did you earn a 3.5 GPA last fall?  If so, you should’ve received an invitation to the Spring Academic Banquet Ceremony.  This year, the ceremony will be Wednesday April 24 at 6 pm.  During the ceremony, the National Honor Society and the Spanish Honor Society will also be presenting awards.  In addition, this is also the time when Golden Spur Awards will be given to students who were nominated by their teachers.  If you’ve received an invitation, please don’t forget to RSVP.  Also, if you are planning to purchase dinner that night, please don’t forget to get your money into the ASB office ASAP.  The deadline is Friday, April 19.

11th and 12th grade students, if you received a call home about qualifying for the 2013 Nissan Car Giveaway at COC, you must attend a mandatory meeting in the Main Gym today at Lunch!

If you are unsure of if you qualified or not, a list will be posted outside of the main office on the bulletin board for you to check.
