GENERAL
PROM IS APRIL 20--TICKETS ARE ON SALE!! $235 per couple Flat Rate—only until Friday, March 29!! Paperwork must be filled out in full. Be ready to sign up for your Promenade room when you buy your tickets. If you want to be in a room with your friends, sign up with them! GUEST slips are due BEFORE SPRING BREAK!!!!. Buy your tickets NOW---THE PRICE GOES UP AFTER SPRING BREAK!
AP Econ Review sessions will be held EVERY Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at lunch in room A-5. These reviews will be ongoing beginning Monday, April 8 until the date of the AP Exam.
Come see Frankenweenie TONIGHT at 6:00 in the A-lecture hall for Movie Night sponsored by YES I CAN and the Summer Meltdown. Food and drinks will be sold. Come celebrate the start of Spring Break with us and Frankenweenie!
Canyon Varsity Dance Team will be competing in the National Dance Competition in Costa Mesa this weekend! Good luck Jenna, Megan, Kelsey, Lacy, Juliette, Moriah, Brianna, Rosemary, Delaney, Deborah and Nathan!
LIBRARY: Have you checked the due date of your library book? You can find it inside the front cover. Remember to return or renew your books on time and avoid annoying fines that start to add up quickly. The book drop is located inside the library at the circulation desk.
SPRING ACADEMIC CEREMONY: Did you earn a 3.5 GPA last fall? If so, you should’ve received an invitation to the Spring Academic Banquet Ceremony. This year, the ceremony will be Wednesday April 24 at 6 pm. During the ceremony, the National Honor Society and the Spanish Honor Society will also be presenting awards. In addition, this is also the time when Golden Spur Awards will be given to students who were nominated by their teachers. If you’ve received an invitation, please don’t forget to RSVP. Also, if you are planning to purchase dinner that night, please don’t forget to get your money into the ASB office ASAP.
HEY COWBOYS, do you have some loose change around your house or in your pocket? Then donate your loose change to our CSF drive for Habitat for Humanity to raise money to build homes for low-income and military veteran families. Please help out as much as you can!
Are you interested in going to FIDM? You can learn about Fashion, Jewelry, and Footwear Design, Digital Media, Entertainment Set Design, Graphic Design, Interior Design, and so much more! Go to H-1, period 2 (8am) on Friday and meet the rep/learn more.
MEETINGS
CHECKMATE CHESS CLUB and other board games will meet at Lunch in G-117. Bring your lunch and enjoy the game of kings, queens, presidents, military leaders, and people all around the world. THE ROLEPLAYING CLUB will meet at room K4 TODAY from 3-7 in order to play the pathfinder roleplaying game. New players are welcome.
SENIORS
SENIOR STARS: If you have been accepted to a 4-year college or university and plan on attending that school in the fall, please see Mrs. Hettema in the counseling office. We will make a star in your honor and place it on the Senior Stars bulletin board outside of the counseling office. Also, if you have received notice of any scholarships or awards, please let Mrs. Hettema know.
