SPRING ACADEMIC CEREMONY: Did you earn a 3.5 GPA last fall? If so, you should’ve received an invitation to the Spring Academic Banquet Ceremony. This year, the ceremony will be Wednesday April 24 at 6 pm. During the ceremony, the National Honor Society and the Spanish Honor Society will also be presenting awards. In addition, this is also the time when Golden Spur Awards will be given to students who were nominated by their teachers. If you’ve received an invitation, please don’t forget to RSVP. Also, if you are planning to purchase dinner that night, please don’t forget to get your money into the ASB office ASAP.
HEY COWBOYS, do you have some loose change around your house or in your pocket? Then donate your loose change to our CSF drive for Habitat for Humanity to raise money to build homes for low-income and military veteran families. Please help out as much as you can!
THE MATH CLUB has sponsored a contest that will run till Friday. The question can be found in the library. Anybody who answers the question correctly will have a chance to win a free Cold Stone ice cream.
HEY COWBOYS! Start off your spring break with an awesome movie night! Yes I can will be hosting a Movie Night on Friday, March 29th in the A-Lecture Hall at 6:00PM. There is no entry fee, but we will be selling food and drinks inside. So come on out and help support Yes I Can, raise funds for Summer Meltdown, and celebrate the start of Spring Break. See you all there!
UCLA's Department of Near Eastern Languages & Cultures and UCLA's Study of Religion IDP are offering exciting courses for high school students. These units can to be transferred to any university and ALL of their language courses fulfill ONE YEAR of the language requirement for most high schools and colleges. Language choices include Arabic, Hebrew, and Intermediate Arabic. 3 Culture and 4 Study of Religion Course are available. Summer session A is June 24th - August 2nd. ATTENTION ALL PHYSICAL EDUCATION STUDENTS: Make-up opportunities for absences, nondresses, medical excuses, or parent notes will occur every Tuesday and Thursday morning at 7:30 am. Meet out on the track at 7:30 am. If no student’s show by 7:35, then the opportunity to make things up is over. We start the make ups at exactly 730 to allow for enough time to complete the make-up.
DO YOU ENJOY designing, writing, math, physics, construction, and art? If the answer is yes, you might want to learn more about careers in the Engineering and Design Industry! Join us in the library at lunch on March 28th to hear about some opportunities available through COC to prepare for a career in Engineering and Design. Stop by the library to check out the architectural models on display. Program attendees may have the opportunity to earn extra credit for attending. (The library tables will be closed at lunch on the 28th for the presentation; be sure to make other study plans that day.)

HEY KEY CLUBBERS!! We are having out next General Meeting TODAY in Q Theater. Attendance will be taken –make sure to attend.
CHECKMATE CHESS CLUB and other board games will meet at Lunch in G-117. Bring your lunch and enjoy the game of kings, queens, presidents, military leaders, and people all around the world. Please plan on attending the next GSA( Gay/Straight Alliance) Club meeting Thursday, March 28 in Room C-1 during lunch. All members should plan on attending because yearbook club photos will be taken at the meeting!
Atención The LATIN DANCE CLUB will be offering Latin dance lessons on Wednesday and Thursday of this week in room D-5. Come and join us Tuesday for Bachata, Wednesday for Banda/Folklórico and Thursday for Cumbia/Merengue. Everyone is welcome to attend the three sessions, hope to see you there.

THE ROLEPLAYING CLUB will meet at room K4 this Friday the 29th from 3-7 in order to play the pathfinder roleplaying game. New players are welcome.
BIBLE CLUB--Come to the Bible Club on Thursday at lunch in the choir room. Get some food and enjoy some time with other students. Everyone is welcome.

SENIOR STARS: If you have been accepted to a 4-year college or university and plan on attending that school in the fall, please see Mrs. Hettema in the counseling office. We will make a star in your honor and place it on the Senior Stars bulletin board outside of the counseling office. Also, if you have received notice of any scholarships or awards, please let Mrs. Hettema know.
