GENERAL
Fri Feb 15th is the Boys' Basketball teams 1st round CIF Playoff game. They play at Lawndale at 7pm. On Saturday is our Girls 1st Round Playoff Game. They Play Channel Islands at 7pm at Canyon. Because this is a CIF contest, ASB cards do not provide free admission. General admission is $8 and Students with a school ID pay $5. Come out and Support your Boys' and Girls' programs.

JAZZ/POP AUDITIONS ARE COMING NEXT TUESDAY. Sign ups for an audition time are on the door of the choir room. If you missed the informational meeting last month, please see Mrs. Purdy today! Auditions are open to anyone in the whole school, so sign up for an audition slot.

DRESS CODE VIOLATION: Have you been recently asked to change your shirt due to a dress code violation? Did Canyon Administration give you a Canyon t-shirt to wear for the day? If so, please remember to wash and return the Canyon t-shirt to the Student Responsibility Center (SRC) to get your original shirt back. You have 10 days to return for the Canyon t-shirt and pick up your original shirt. Canyon High School is not responsible for articles of clothing left in the SRC after 10 days.
MEETINGS
CALLING ALL SCIENCE GEEKS!! Canyon High's Chemistry Club is now forming, come to K-5 at TODAY at lunch to find out more. Chemistry is the coolest thing going - just ask Mr. Nelson, Mr. Milasich or Mr. Downs.
ALL OPERERATION US members need to meet Wed. Feb. 20, at lunch, in room E-3. We have a few things to discuss for the end of the year. See you Wednesday!
SENIORS
THE SANTA CLARITA EMBLEM CLUB is offering the Vi Athenstead Scholarship worth 800 to 1000 dollars. There are four scholarships to be awarded. There is no GPA qualifier. Any senior with community service should apply. The applications are in the counseling office and must be mailed in by February 15th
SENIORS: If you plan to study in a field related to education after graduation there is 500 dollar scholarship for you. Please pick up an application for the SCV Education Foundation scholarship in the counseling office.
