GENERAL
OPERATION US: We have two presentations coming up very soon! Please return your permission slips to Ms. Mast in E3 ASAP. If you need a permission slip, please stop by E3 today. We are presenting at Fair Oaks Elementary on Wednesday January 23rd and Thursday January 24th.
CSF - Applications for CSF (California Scholarship Federation) will be available from TODAY to Friday Jan. 18. in the library. You can also access the application online through the library website. Look for the CSF link on the left side of the web page. If you have questions, see Mrs. Hermelin in the library.
HEY COWBOYS! Last semester, the American Red Cross held an emergency comfort kit drive to help prepare needy families for disasters. The purpose of these kits is to provide survival essentials, as well as comfort items, to help families get through in the event of a disaster. The American Red Cross asked each SCV high school to host a drive for a specific item to contribute to the kits. Canyon High was assigned books and magazines. American Red Cross would like to thank Canyon High for having a successful drive last semester in donating 227 books and magazines to contribute to the emergency comfort kits. Way to go Cowboys!!!
STUDENTS: If you are interested in attending the February Job Fair for Six Flags Magic Mountain, representatives from Six Flags will be on campus Tuesday, January 22nd at both brunches and lunch to give you more information.
MEETINGS
HEY COWBOYS! There is an American Red Cross meeting at lunch TODAY in Mrs. Hoffart’s room G204. New members are always welcome.
LATIN DANCE CLUB PRACTICES: The Latin Dance Club is meeting everyday starting this week right after seventh period in room D5. Dancers will start learning new steps for a new song. Everyone is welcome and no experience is necessary. Hope to see you there.
ANIME CLUB is meeting today in G-220 at lunch. Come join the fun.
THE BIBLE CLUB will meet on Thursday at lunch in the choir room. Everyone is welcome!
