HEY COWBOYS!!! Homecoming is just around the corner. Tickets are on sale NOW in the ASB Office. They are $10 with an ASB card and $15 without, and $20 at the door. Guest tickets are due this Friday, September 28th. Hurry up and buy your tickets! The dance is Saturday, October 6, from 7-11 pm. Don’t miss out on this great experience!

BLOOD DRIVE! The next blood drive will be held at Canyon on September 27. If you are 16 or older and would like to donate blood and save a life come pick up paperwork in E-5 at brunch or lunch!
THE FIRST FUNDRAISER for A Little Goes a Long Way is a car wash this Saturday, September 29, at K-Mart. Please come out and support this new club. Also, we are looking for donations of car wash supplies, which can be dropped off in room D-4, anytime before lunch on Friday. Thank you!

ANIME CLUB: Because of the minimum day today, there will be no ANIME club meeting. See you in a couple of weeks!
ATTENTION AMERICAN RED CROSS CLUB MEMBERS, our meeting is moved to Thursday, September 27 at lunch. New members welcomed. Also, if you are a member and would like a t-shirt and/or are attending this Saturday’s bonfire, then please contact the president or secretary as soon as possible.

ROLEPLAYING CLUB THIS FRIDAY: If you made a character last meeting, or if you just want to try playing, please come to roleplaying club this Friday after school, from 3 to 7 pm in room K4. We will be playing the pathfinder roleplaying system. Participation is first-come first serve, and there are signup sheets in K4 for the 3 games we are playing. Please stop by to get your name on the list!

SENIORS: Are you wondering which career is for you? If you need help with a career plan, I would like to meet with you. I am Loida Sanchez, Career Coach for Canyon High School. Please sign up to see me in the Counseling Office to begin your career exploration!
Are you planning to apply to any of the UC schools? If so, you might want to attend the UCLA workshop. The presenter will go over the UC Application and Personal Statement for ANY of the UC schools. You must sign up in the Counseling Office before this workshop. You should have a copy of your transcript (you can print them from the Campus Portal) with you for the UCLA workshop.

THE UCLA SCHOOL OF THEATER, FILM AND TELEVISION will be hosting Information Sessions in the Fall for prospective students, counselors, and educators. Our presentation includes information about our two departments, the application process for our graduate and undergraduate programs, the portfolio/audition/interview requirements, and other UCLA resources.
