MAKE UP PICTURE DAY: Tuesday, September 11---Room H-1. 7:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m.
YEARBOOKS: Most students realize they want a yearbook at the end of the year, but what you might not realize is that NOW is the cheapest time to buy your yearbook. Prices will be increasing soon so buy your book before the end of September for $80 in ASB.
HEY KEY CLUBBERS: Hours from last semester are due this week. Take them to Mr. Lee’s room V-1.
DODGE, DUCK, DIVE, DODGE... Dodge ball sign- ups will take place in C-5. All are welcome, and signs up will occur at both brunches at lunch!
Are you interested in a MILITARY APPOINTMENT for college? So if you are considering Annapolis, West Point, The Air Force Academy, the Coast Guard Academy, or the Merchant Marine Academy, Congressman Buck McKeon will host a special event for you and your parents to answer all of your questions on Wed., September 12th from 7-9 pm at COC in the Dianne G Van Hook University Center. Learn about the application for appointment, nomination, selection, and daily life at the academies. TEXTBOOK CENTER- Textbook Damage Forms are due by Friday, Sept 7th. Drop them in the blue crates in the library or textbook center. If you have lost yours from registration see Mrs. Kulesz to get another. Don’t get stuck paying for someone else’s damage, return your form.

HEY COWBOYS!! Don’t forget to mark your calendars for the Wm. S. Hart School District’s second annual College and Career Fair on Thursday evening, September 13th from 6:00-9:00 p.m. in the gymnasium at Golden Valley High School. This free event is open to all high school students in the district, but is most appropriate for juniors and seniors.
Representatives from 2-year and 4-year universities, career technical schools and apprenticeship programs will be participating. In addition to the fair, workshops on financial aid, Exploring the UC & CSU systems, Out-of-State College and freshmen admissions, Community College Programs and career preparation will be offered.
