SUPPLEMENTAL PROGRESS REPORTS: If you would like to receive a supplemental progress report this Friday, please see Mrs. Hettema in the Counseling office between 7:30am and 8:00am Friday morning to pick one up. If you have a 7:00am class, you may pick one up from Mrs. Hettema Thursday after your last class.
SOPHOMORE GPS 2 COLLEGE - Tuesday, March 6, from 6:30 to 8 pm in the Canyon Library. This is a free college preparation workshop for sophomore parents and students. Plan for the next two years and get a head start on the college application process and what can be done now to improve your chances at being accepted at the college of your choice. Learn from a panel of College Admissions and Testing Experts about the admissions and acceptance process at U.S. colleges and what you can do to optimize your chances of getting in! Topics will include: college admissions testing, general college admissions issues, essay writing and much more. Please sign up in the counseling office or feel free just to show up with your parents.
CSF will have a meeting for current members who are interested in an officer position for the 2012-2013 school year. If you're interested in being a CSF officer, you must attend this meeting on March 5 @ lunch in the library to learn more about the role and responsibilities of each position and to begin the process of running for office. We hope to see interested members at the meeting.
ADVANCED PLACEMENT EXAMS: AP students will receive AP Exam Registration information starting TODAY. AP Exam registration will start March 5th and run through March 16th, 1:00 PM. Students may register before school, brunch or during lunch in the ASB office. The fee for each test is $87, unless the student participates in the free or reduced lunch program. Students can see Mrs. Schwamb in the Health Office to learn about this program. Don’t forget to sign up!!!
