LOST NECKLACE: It is a long, silver chain, with a square pendant. On the pendant, is a capital "B" on one side, and a picture of my son on the other. If found return to Mrs. Silva in room F-2 or Mrs. Ruppert in the front office.
SUPPORT CANYON THEATRE by grabbing a sandwich at Jersey Mikes on Thursday February 9th. Snag a flyer from the theatre if you're planning on lunch, or just show up for dinner and 20% of the proceeds will go to support our spring musical.
WORK EXPERIENCE STUDENTS: By Friday all Work Experience students need to sign their new work permit. See Mr. Ward in room A-3.
OUR AWARD WINNING CANYON DANCE TEAM has their first competition of the season this Saturday at West Lake High School. CAREER IN ARTS WEEK: Career In Arts week is this week. We are going to have a lot of great speakers, like an Interior Designer, an architect, animator, and many more in the in the music and film industries. Check the flyers for the schedule and get a permission slip from any Fine Arts teacher. Today there will be an art walk through the T-building.
ATTENTION JUNIORS: What?!? You still have not taken an SAT Prep Class? Now is the time! Tier One, one of the largest SAT prep providers in Southern California, will be offering full-length SAT prep classes here at Canyon for the third year in a row. This program will be taught on Wednesday afternoons and evenings by a skilled and specially trained SAT instructor, will include two proctored exams, and will cover material for the entire SAT test (the Math, Critical Reading and Writing sections). The only fee involved in this program is $90 to cover the cost of materials that you get to keep. To find out more about the program or to sign-up for this great opportunity, pick up a flyer in the AP office or Counseling office, or visit our school website to print a flyer from home with all dates attached. The deadline to register is Wednesday, March 7th. Classes begin Wednesday, March 14th for 6 weeks.
ATTENTION JUNIORS AND SENIORS: The Prom Fashion Show will be on March 15th. We are looking for our couples to model. Paperwork is now available in ASB and it is due by Friday, February 10. There are only 40 spots and it is first come first serve.
