FREE FINANCIAL AID WORKSHOP - Parents of College-bound juniors and seniors: Please come to a FREE Financial Aid Workshop on Wednesday evening, February 8th, at 6:30 p.m. in the Library. You will hear from a professional college planner about how to fill out the FAFSA and CAL GRANT applications. Refreshments will be served.
REMINDER FOR ALL STUDENTS IN THE WORK EXPERIENCE PROGRAM: Our class will meet at lunch TODAY in Mr. Ward's room, A-3.
ATTENTION JUNIORS: Counselors handed out pre-registration forms in the US History classes on Tuesday. If you are not currently in a US History B class or you just didn’t get this form, please come up to the counseling office and get a pink pre-registration sheet so you can choose your classes for next year. Fill out the form, keep it handy in your binder, and then wait for your counselor to call you up to discuss your classes.
CAREER IN ARTS WEEK: Well it is finally here—Career In Arts week is starting this week. We are going to have a lot of great speakers, like an Interior Designer, an architect, animator, and many more in the in the music and film industries. Check the flyers for the schedule and get a permission slip from any Fine Arts teacher.
THERE IS A NEW SIGN LANGUAGE CLUB ON CAMPUS: The American Sign Language Club will have its very first meeting Tuesday, February 7 in room E-4 at lunch. Future meetings will be held during lunch on Tuesdays and Fridays in room E-R. Enrollment in the club is open and everyone is welcome to join.
HEY COWBOYS: The birth of the CANYON FILM SOCIETY is about to rock the Foundation of Bravery!! Come to E-1 every Tuesday at lunch to talk about, watch, and make films!! Your participation is greatly responsible for the success of the future of film..
ATTENTION JUNIORS AND SENIORS: The Prom Fashion Show will be on March 15th. We are looking for our couples to model. Paperwork is now available in ASB and it is due by Friday, February 10. There are only 40 spots and it is first come first serve.
BLOOD DRIVE: There will be a blood drive on campus on Wednesday, February 8th. You must be at least 16 to donate. Permission slips are available in room U-7 or ask an NHS member. Your donation may save a life!
