GENERAL

HEY COWBOYS!!!  Cowboy Football has a CIF Playoff game here Friday night November 18 at 7:30.  Since this is a post-season game, no ASB cards, Student, Child or Adult are valid.  Hart School District Employee ID and Foothill League passes are also not honored.  The cost is $8 for Adults and Senior Citizens, and $5 for high school students and children 13 and younger.  Our ASB Office is selling them before school, brunches and lunch.  Buy your ticket in advance to avoid standing in line Friday night.

STUDENTS REMEMBER:  Once you enter the game you cannot leave and return.  So, bring everything in with you that you need when you arrive at the game.  Also, NO skateboards, footballs, bikes or scooters in the parking lot or inside the game.  Thank you for your co-operation and GO COWBOYS!

DUE TO A CHANGE IN PLANS—THE LIBRARY WILL BE OPERATING REGULAR LIBRARY HOURS TODAY. WE WILL BE OPEN AFTER SCHOOL.

CHEER FUNDRAISER:  When: Saturday, November 19, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.  Where:  Dilemma Clothing, and Round Table Pizza from 5 p.m.- 7 p.m..  Both are in the Vons Shopping Center by Sand Canyon.  Cheer will receive a portion of the proceeds.

HEALTH OFFICE:  When you are ill, you must get a pass from your teacher to come up to the Health Office.  It is there that contact will be made with your parents/guardians to arrange for you to go home.  Do not call or text your parents or guardians from the classroom expecting to be summoned to the Health Office. 

PSAT: If you are a sophomore or junior who took the October 2011 PSAT at Canyon High School, we *may be offering a FREE PSAT Workshop for you and your parents at an evening meeting in December from the good people at Huntington Learning Center. If you or your parents are interested in this FREE Workshop to review and explain your PSAT results, please come up to the counseling office at your earliest convenience and sign the PSAT Workshop Sign-Up Sheet so we can get in touch with you for this opportunity. Sign-ups will be from October 16 - 23 in the Counseling office. * This meeting will only be held if we have enough students sign up to warrant its occurrence.

ARE YOU READY FOR SOME BASKETBALL?  come on out TONIGHT and meet your 2011-2012 Boys' basketball teams at their Annual Green and Gold night.  The festivities begin at 7:00 and prizes will be awarded throughout the night. 

OPERATION US will be presenting at Valley View Elementary TODAY.  If you are planning on attending please bring your completed permission slips to Ms. Mast in E3 A.S.A.P.! 

DODGE BALL SIGNUPS! Dodge, duck, dive, dodge!  Dodgeball sign up are occurring this week during both brunches and at lunch in C-5 and G-116.  All are welcome! 

BASEBALL TRYOUTS will be held at 3:15 on November 28th and 29th.  See Coach Schulhofer in room B-5 for more information.

MEETINGS

CHECKMATES CHESS CLUB (and other board games of skill) meet Wed and Friday in G-117.  Bring your lunch

NAHS ART CLUB will hold a meeting TODAY at lunch in room T4, all members must attend.
