GENERAL

NO SCHOOL FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 11!

LETTERMEN JACKETS: Dagan sales will be on campus for letterman jacket sizing on Thursday, Nov. 10the during lunch only. Paperwork for orders is on the wall outside the ASB office.

KIDS OR NOT!!  Stop what you’re doing and listen to this!  The Varsity Improv team is having a show this Friday from 6-8 p.m. in the “Q” theater.  The veterans will be there.  Come and enjoy a fun evening—Cost $2.00.

OPERATION US will be presenting at Valley View Elementary on Thursday November 17th.  If you are planning on attending please bring your completed permission slips to Ms. Mast in E3 A.S.A.P.! 

HEALTH OFFICE:  When you are ill, you must get a pass from your teacher to come up to the Health Office.  It is there that contact will be made with your parents/guardians to arrange for you to go home.  Do not call or text your parents or guardians from the classroom expecting to be summoned to the Health Office. 

BOYS TENNIS TRY OUTS!!!!  Boys Tennis try-outs are this week ---------

Varsity try-outs are Tues  3-4:30

Jr. Varsity  try-outs are Wed and Thurs 3- 4:30

Meet at tennis courts dressed and ready to play.

ARE YOU 17 AND LOOKING FOR EMPLOYMENT SKILLS THAT MAY LEAD TO A JOB?  ROP offers the Hotel Restaurant operations course.  Train for entry-level jobs in food/beverage, guest relations, housekeeping and office.  This opportunity sometimes leads to paid employment.  See Mrs. Gaines in the ROP office to sign up.

HART DISTRICT STUDENTS: Nissan Car Giveaway 2011-2012 school year.  To all 10^th, 11^th and 12^th grade students.  If you maintain a 2.0 average and attend school at least 97% of the time with a positive behavior on campus, you could be eligible to win a car!  All eligible students will be notified in April with the details of the drawing.  KEEP WORKING HARD!!!!!

STUDENTS:  Do you have proof of your Whooping Cough immunization or a signed waiver with you?  Is it tucked away in your back pack?  If so, you must bring it to the health office now!!  

MEETINGS

ANIME club is meeting today at lunch in G-220

ATTENTION ALL S.O.S. MEMBERS:  TODAY there will be a mandatory meeting in room G202 at lunch.  Members must come to this meeting to be on the Club Roster and be part of the November event.

SENIORS

LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION:  Seniors, please give teachers and counselors PLENTY of time to complete college letters of recommendation for you. Staff should be given at least two weeks’ notice, as they will not be able to work on these over Thanksgiving/Winter breaks. Please provide the stamped, addressed envelope (if needed) as well as a ‘brag sheet’ listing your activities, award, honors, etc. You can pick up a copy of Request for Letter of Recommendation from the Counseling Office.

SENIORS:

It's time to start preparing for Graduation.  The first step is to order your Cap & Gown, Graduation Announcements, and other Senior memorabilia.

JOSTENS will be on campus accepting orders on:

During Government/ Econ Class                                       

                            Outside the “B” Building

                       Ordering information has been distributed in class!!!

Be prepared to bring your completed order form and down payment on this day.  DON'T FORGET EVERY SENIOR MUST TURN IN THEIR CAP & GOWN SIZES on this day!
