CONGRATULATIONS TO CANYON’S BAND, the Gold Star Brigade for a tremendous performance at the Loara Field Tournament on Saturday, the 29th!  The band took 1st place in their division, the color guard took 4th and the drumline took 1st place in the field tournament!  Come check out the band at COC on Saturday night in the Hart Rampage Tournament at 7:15pm.  Great job and good luck this week! 

STUDENTS: If you have not submitted paperwork for the required Pertussis vaccination to the health office, you must do so today.  This information is required by the State of California.  In other words, it's a law!  Each student must show proof of this vaccination or have submitted a waiver for the vaccination.  Please see Mrs. Schwamb in the health office.  

DOES CHILD DEVELOPMENT SPARK YOUR INTEREST?  Then consider taking one of the child care classes ROP has to offer.  From Infant Care to Child Care to School Age Child Care, ROP offers a variety of age development courses.  See Mrs. Gaines in the ROP office today to sign up.

HEALTH OFFICE:  When you are ill, you must get a pass from your teacher to come up to the Health Office.  It is there that contact will be made with your parents/guardians to arrange for you to go home.  Do not call or text your parents or guardians from the classroom expecting to be summoned to the Health Office. 

ATTENTION UNDERCLASSMEN: Do you want to get your picture in the yearbook? Click on the yearbook link from the canyon homepage and follow the link to your class survey. They are only available for a few more days, so don't miss this opportunity to make your voice heard in the yearbook.

HART DISTRICT STUDENTS: Nissan Car Giveaway 2011-2012 school year.  To all 10^th, 11^th and 12^th grade students.  If you maintain a 2.0 average and attend school at least 97% of the time with a positive behavior on campus, you could be eligible to win a car!  All eligible students will be notified in April with the details of the drawing.  KEEP WORKING HARD!!!!!
