NO STUDENT SUMMONS DURING FINAL EXAMS: STUDENTS please note, there are NO student summons delivered during Final Exams. Please do NOT call your parents and ask them to excuse you early for any reason. The Attendance Office WILL NOT deliver student summons during Final Exams to remove you from class. ALL students need to stay during the entire final exam period out of respect for all the other classes in exams.

CLASS OF 2012 JUNIORS: Personalized parking spots (for next school year) are available to apply for --starting today. The cost is $50.00. Paperwork is available outside the ASB Office. There are only 75 spots, first come, first serve.
CAT reminder: All participating CAT members, don't forget to come to our banquet tonight at the SCV Sports Complex from 5:30-7:30. Come ready to have a great time with our extended family, and bring food to share if you can! Even if you didn't RSVP, you can still attend, we won't turn anyone away :)
AUDITIONS will be held for the fall 2011 children's theatre class on Tuesday May 17th after school in the Q-Theatre. Auditions will begin at 2 PM for those with an open 7th and at 3 PM for everyone else. No preparation necessary. See Ms. P in the theatre if you have any questions.
HEY JUNIORS!! Senior year is right around the corner and we need ideas for the 2012 Senior T-shirt. If you are a junior and you have a design or idea to make the 2012 senior t-shirt please drop it off in ASB before Thursday, May 26th. No late entries will be allowed so if you want your senior t-shirt the way you think it should be…send in a design now!
CANYON LIBRARY: All library materials are due in the library TODAY. If you owe a library fine, these are payable in cash only. Also, the study area will be closed for textbook collection, but the computer lab area will remain open for those last-minute assignments.
BOY’S BASKETBALL: The boys' Basketball program would like to extend an open invitation to any and all boys who are interested in playing Basketball for the Cowboys next year. If you are interest in participating, come see Coach Phillips in G-116 at Lunch for details about dates and times.
SUMMER MELTDOWN tickets on sale for 1/2 price in C-3 for only $10. Come in brunch or lunch. Tickets are $20 online and will go up to $30 the day of the event so get them at this discounted price before they're all sold out. We will have over 30 local and national bands, musicians, and DJs. Headlining artists are Unwritten Law, Tomorrows Bad Seeds, P-Nut of 311, Taryn Manning, Oh No Not Stereo, and more. Ask a YES-I-CANNER for more information.
CROSS COUNTRY There is an informational meeting for any students who are interesting in joining the cross country team. We will meet Friday, May 20 in room S-4 at 3 p.m. Please see Coach Jackson
(G-201) or Coach Bentley (C-1) if you have any questions.
All 9th - 11th Graders: Your textbooks are due by Thursday, May 26th. Please turn in all of your textbooks before you leave for the summer break. If you have any questions or concerns see Mrs. Kulesz in the textbook center.
CANYON HIGH SCHOOL DANCE TEAM is putting together its first ever Male-Hip-Hop Team. Any guys who are interested should see Mrs. Arnold in room G-220 at lunch as soon as possible for details.
SOPHOMORES AND JUNIORS - If you would like to take an ROP class in the fall see Mrs. Gaines in the ROP office. Classes fill up quickly and your name will be required to be on the list prior to the end of the school year to be considered for priority enrollment. Don't miss out on that ROP class you've been thinking about taking.

IMPACT CLUB: There is a meeting Tuesday, May 17 at lunch in U-7. This meeting is important for those who want to be a future officer. See you there!!
SENIORS
SENIORS: Do you owe any textbooks, library books, fines or delinquencies? All textbooks and library books must be turned in and fines paid by Thursday, May 19th. All fines and delinquencies must be paid in cash, no checks. Your senior activities may be restricted if you have not cleared your accounts. If you have any questions or concerns check with Mrs. Kulesz in the textbook center or Ms. Rehder in the ASB office.
