GENERAL

AP STUDENTS:  Just a reminder that AP Testing kicks off Monday morning, May 2 with AP Chemistry in BB2.  The last day of testing is Thursday May 12.  AP testing will occur in rooms BB2, BB3 and the library.  Students need to arrive by 7:45 am for morning tests and 12:30 pm for afternoon tests.  If you have questions about the testing schedule, please ask your AP teacher or visit The Counseling Office.

The AP Schedule will also be posted on the Canyon Website. 

TONIGHT!!  The Canyon Dance Team Presents "Back to the 80's" at 7:00 in the Canyon High School Gym. It's going to be a great show, featuring the dance team, drum line, color guard, and more! Don't miss it! Tickets are $10 at the door.

POWDER PUFF FOOTBALL:  Hey all you Seniors and Juniors!!  Powder Puff is just a couple of weeks away!!!  Grab an application outside of J-1 if you want to play or cheer.  Return your application before the deadline Tuesday, May 3.

IF YOU NEED KEY CLUB HOURS still, come to the Car Wash TOMORROW from 9am to 3pm in front of where Yogurt with a Twist used to be on Soledad Canyon. We need posters, baked goods, and car washers! Contact an officer or comment on Facebook to sign up.

YES I CAN is sponsoring a Bowlathon this Sunday at Santa Clarita Lanes.  Anyone can participate.  All you need is to get 5 sponsors willing to donate either a $10 flat rate, or 5 cents a pin, and you can bowl and have lunch for FREE!!!  Top Prize is a bowling ball of your choice and all proceeds go to the 8th Annual SUMMER MELTDOWN on Saturday May 21st.  Stop by C3 for more information. 

MEETINGS

CHECKMATES CHESS CLUB and other board games will meet in G-117 at lunch.  Bring your lunch, skill, enthusiasm and play/ learn the game of Kings and Queens.  Questions, please see Mr. Clark

SENIORS

SENIOR STARS:  If you have been accepted to a 4-year college or university and plan on attending that school in the fall, please see Mrs. Hettema in the counseling office.  We will make a star in your honor and place it on the Senior Stars bulletin board outside of the counseling office.  Also, if you have received notice of any scholarships or awards, please let Mrs. Hettema know.

SENIORS:  The Canyon Staff Scholarship is a $300 scholarship for ANY graduating senior from Canyon High School!  Please pick up an application in room G-105 or the Counseling Office.  Applications are due Friday, May 6^th.

HEY KEY CLUB SENIORS! If you want a sash, 15 hours are due next week May 2nd through May 6th! Remember four semesters are required to receive a sash! Late hour sheets will NOT be accepted. Come to V-1 to check if you qualify.

SENIORS:  Please make sure you are reading the bulletin everyday if you are looking for scholarships.  From now until graduation new scholarships are rolling in daily.  Many of these are for Canyon students only and you have a great shot at money for school.  Don't miss out on these scholarship opportunities!  Even if you are AP testing, make sure to read a bulletin!!

HEY SENIOR COWBOYS:  Have you enjoyed your years at Canyon?  Will you be hard to forget?  Apply for the Canyon Staff Scholarship in room G-105 or the counseling office.

SENIOR SPEAKER FOR GRADUATION:  Any Senior wishing to audition for Senior Speaker for Graduation should sign up in Assistant Principals Office and pick up a speech/audition information sheet.  Please do this as soon as possible.  Audition sigh-ups will end on May 9.  Auditions are on the morning of May 11.  Sign up early to get the audition time of your choice!  If you have any questions, please see
