GENERAL

BOYS GOING TO PROM: Mr. Tux will be visiting Canyon on Tuesday, March 29th to take orders for tuxes. Please bring $10 cash for a deposit and he will take your measurements in F-4 during lunch.

ATTENTION ALL COWBOYS!!  Do you want to help the survivors of the Japan earthquake and tsunami?  IMPACT, formerly known as Compassion International, is having a fundraiser at Panda Express on Friday, April 1 from 10:30 a.m.- 10 p.m.  All proceeds will go directly to the cause.  You must bring a flyer with you.  Flyers will be posted all around campus, feel free to take one, or you can pick one up from U-7.  See you there!

AVOID PESKY LIBRARY FINES! Take a moment to look inside the cover to check your book's due date. If it's due today, stop by the library and renew or return it. If it's overdue, avoid building up a bigger fine by renewing it or returning it as soon as possible.

ASVAB RESULTS - For all the students who took the ASVAB on March 16th at Canyon it is time to get the results. Please come to the library on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at 9 am and your test results will be explained highlighting academic strengths, areas of improvement and potential future vocational options.

DANCE TEAM TRYOUTS ARE COMING!!   If you want to try out, your parent or guardian MUST attend a MANDATORY Parent Meeting on March 29th, at 7:00 pm. in the Q-Theater here on campus. See Mrs. Arnold in G-220 if you have any questions." 

The ASVAB results will be given in the library on Tuesday March 29 with the library closed at brunches on that day.

All Frosh and JV practices and tryouts will be 

3:30-5:30PM @ CHS

Varsity tryouts Thu April 21^st 2:30-5:30PM @ CHS

Varsity Judged tryouts Fri April 22^nd 5-8 PM in CHS Gym

MEETINGS

IMPACT, formerly known as Compassion International, is having a meeting next Friday, April 1 at lunch in U-7.  It’s never too late to join the club!!

SENIORS

SCHOLARSHIP:  Seniors, are you interested in studying engineering or environmental studies in college?  There is a scholarship for you.  If you have a 3.0 GPA, please come pick up an application in the counseling office.

SCHOLARSHIP:  Seniors, have you been attending school in Santa Clarita for at least 7 years?  If so, there is a scholarship for you!  Additional requirements are at least a 2.5 GPA and application to a trade school, community college, or four year university.  Please stop by the counseling office for an application.  Applications are due to Mrs. Goller by March 31sat.
