GENERAL

 

GOOD LUCK TO THE GIRLS VARSITY BASKETBALL TEAM when they play Huntington Beach at Huntington Beach High School in a Quarter Final CIF Basketball game tonight.  Game time is 7:00.

ACADEMY OF THE CANYONS:  Make a change and be a part of a unique, rewarding high school experience!  If you would like to learn more about Academy of the Canyons Middle College High School, you and your parents are invited to attend an information meeting tonight in the Valencia High MPR at 7:00 p.m. 

 

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE DANCE TEAM!!  Over the weekend they received 1st place at Sharp Nationals in 3-categories: Lyrical, Dance, and Prop. They are on fire this year!  If you see a member of the dance team today...tell them congrats!"

Culinary 3 next semester.

 

MATCHMAKER RESULTS:  It’s never too late to find your perfect match.  Go to the front of ASB at brunch or lunch all this week to buy your Matchmaker results.  The prices are 1 for $3.00, 2 for $5.00, and 3 for $6.00. 

 

HEY KEY CLUBBERS!  If you are a freshman or sophomore, then we encourage you to sign up for our executive board.  Also, remember that interviews for potential officers are this Friday, February 25, in room V-1 at lunch.  We are also having a fundraiser for Pennies for Patients.  Donate during you second period class, and the class that raises the most money will get a donut party.

MEETINGS

SENIORS:  Are you planning on becoming a teacher?  There is a local scholarship of approximately $2000 if you want to become a teacher and have at least a 2.5 GPA.  Please stop by the counseling office if you are interested.
