GENERAL

ALL STUDENTS that have an open period or an athletics/ROTC/extracurricular activity will need their ID to reflect this.  These are new instructions to process your ID.

Please go to the Assistant Principals Office:

1.      Students that have their schedule may get an open sticker instantly as time permits.

2.      Students who do not have their schedule can drop their ID off at the AP Office at brunch.  The first 150 turned in will be processed and ready for pick up at that same location during lunch.

3.      If you have an athletics or extracurricular activity, you must present your completed Release from Athletic P.E./Extra Curricular Activities form that you received from your coach or teacher to receive your sticker.  Blank forms are located in the AP office on the counter.

PSAT test results are here!  You may pick up your PSAT results Wednesday at the table outside the Counseling Office during both brunches and lunch. 

CSF:  Applications will be accepted in C8, at lunch only, Tuesday and Wednesday, Jan. 18-19, and Monday through Wednesday, Jan. 24-26.  Applications will not be accepted Thursday or Friday, Jan 20-21. 

ATTENTION ALL JUNIORS AND SENIORS ONLY:  It is time to start thinking about Prom Fashion Show.  If you would like to participate in the 2011 Fashion Show, on Friday, March 11, come to the ASB Office to pick up an application starting TODAY.  All applications must be in by Tuesday, February 2.

ROP - The last day to drop an ROP class without a Drop/Fail is Monday January 24th.  You must see Mrs. Gaines in the ROP office to drop your ROP class.

Support the DANCE TEAM TODAY by eating at Ameci's. Just mention Canyon when you go!

COWBOYS:  Go to JUICE-IT-UP today and help make this year’s Prom amazing…

MEETINGS

OPERATION US: We will be meeting in E3 at lunch TODAY to prepare for our Fair Oaks presentation this Friday.  All members who are attending the Fair Oaks presentation need to be at the meeting.

KEY CLUBBERS:  There is a general meeting January 20 in the A-Lecture Hall at lunch. 

TODAY is the 3rd Wednesday of the month, so that means it's time for the Santa Clarita Community Group meeting at lunch today in room G-220. Come on by!

NHS:  Is meeting TODAY at lunch in room G-105.

CHECKMATES CHESS CLUB and other board games will meet in G-127 at lunch.  Bring your lunch, skill, enthusiasm and play/ learn the game of Kings and Queens.  Questions, please see Mr. Clark

SENIORS

SENIORS:  Do you need money for college?  The counseling department will be giving out scholarship applications for most of the local scholarships on Thursday, January 20th at lunch in the B lecture hall.

The counselors will discuss the scholarships that are available and help with the essay process.  If you need money for college, DO NOT MISS THIS MEETING!!!
