GENERAL

HEY KEY CLUBBERS!  If you have not picked up your shirt or the agenda, come to room V-1.  We will also be making Christmas bouquets for a retirement home, so bring Christmas decorations, like ornaments and garland, and help us make them on Thursday, during the period 7 final.  Meet outside room V-1.

ARE YOU CURRENTLY TAKING A CLASS THROUGH BYU INDEPENDENT STUDIES?  They WILL BE CLOSED from December 22 through January 3rd to update systems.  You will not be able to log-on and work on your BYU class(es) at during these dates, so please plan accordingly.

JAZZ/POP INFORMATIONAL MEETING:  Are you overflowing with talent?  Have you always wanted to perform in front of a very large audience?  If so, you need to be in Jazz/Pop in March.  There will be an informational meeting TODAY at brunch in the choir room.  All students are eligible to perform in this exciting, one-of-a-kind concert.  Come as quickly as you can after the bell rings for brunch so that we can give you as much information as possible.  

MIMI’S IS HOSTING A CHOIR FUNDRAISER WEDNESDAY ALL DAY.  You must bring a flier, so get one in the choir room or from a choir student.  Then go and enjoy a wonderful meal!  The choirs will get 15% of the profits.  Come out and support the choirs!

NO STUDENT SUMMONS DURING FINAL EXAMS:  STUDENTS please note, there are NO student summons delivered during Final Exams.  Please do NOT call your parents and ask them to excuse you early for any reason.  The Attendance Office WILL NOT deliver student summons during Final Exams to remove you from class.  ALL students need to stay during the entire final exam period out of respect for all the other classes in exams. 

TODAY, CHICK-FIL-A IN VALENCIA is having a choir fundraiser from 5:30-7:30 p.m.   Kids ages 5-8 eat for free, so bring the entire family.  There will be a bounce house for the kids.  Added to that, the choir will get 15% of the profits.  Come to the choir room and get a flier or ask a choir student for one.   Hope we see you there. 

SUPPORT THE DANCE TEAM on Wednesdays by eating at Ameci's. Just mention Canyon when you go!"

ALL ATHLETES: YOU MUST have your lockers cleaned out by winter break.   NO EXCEPTIONS!!  LOCKS WILL BE CUT IF THEY ARE STILL THERE!!!

NEED A CALENDAR FOR NEXT YEAR? Well it’s your lucky day because the Mr. Canyon Calendars are out! Come buy your calendar in the ASB office, $15 dollars. Come check it out!

TEXTBOOKS FOR SINGLE SEMESTER CLASSES are due by Thursday, December 16, 2010.  These are classes that you will not be continuing with for the spring semester.  Also due at that time are all class novels checked out from the textbook center.  Don’t forget.  You will not be allowed to check out textbooks for the spring semester until these textbooks are returned.  If you have any questions or concerns contact Mrs. Kulesz in the Textbook Center.
