GENERAL

CIF FOOTBALL:  Hey Cowboys!!!  Cowboy Football has a CIF Playoff game here at Canyon Friday, November 19 @ 7:30.  Since this is a post-season game, no ASB cards, Student, Child or Adult are valid.  Hart School District Employee ID and Foothill League passes are also not honored.  The cost is $8 for Adults and Seniors, and $5 for high school students and children 13 and younger.  Our ASB Office is selling them before school, brunches and lunch.  Buy your ticket in advance to avoid standing in line Friday night.

ARE YOU READY FOR BASKETBALL?  This Thursday, Nov. 18th @ 7pm, Our Cowboy basketball teams will be participating in there annual Green and Gold Night.  The night will consist of some basketball, games and prizes.  Come on out and show your support for the upcoming season.

AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY, meet tomorrow at the outdoor stage at 10:15 for the group yearbook photo.

HEY KEY CLUBBERS!!  Our club picture is Thursday November 18 at the beginning of lunch in the gym.

ATTENTION STUDENTS:  Would you like to work in the library next semester?  What do you do, you ask?  You check in/out books to students, shelve books, process magazines and a variety of other tasks.  If you are interested in being a Teacher's Assistant in the library, please come and see Mrs. Limbaugh in the library.

MENCHIES:  Come support COMPASSION INTERNATIONAL on Monday, November 22, and Tuesday, November 23.  No flyer needed—just say you are supporting Canyon’s Compassion International Club.

CSF MEMBERS: The yearbook photo for CSF (California Scholarship Federation) members will be taken on Thursday, Nov. 18, at 8:00 a.m., on the outdoor stage.  Members must pick up a pass today, or Wednesday, in room C8-- at lunch only.  No one without a pass will be allowed to leave his/her class Thursday morning and be in the photo. 

JUICE IT UP today from 12 noon to 6:00 p.m. to help make this year’s Prom amazing.

CLUB PHOTO DAYS: Thursday the 18th are club photo days. This is your ONE opportunity to have your club photo taken for the yearbook.  Photos will be taken at the designated times. If you are late you will not be included in the photo.  Please check the photo day schedule with your club advisor or see the schedule on bulletin boards around the school.

THE LIT MAGAZINE IS STILL ACCEPTING SUBMISSIONS!  Please bring your short stories, poems, drawings or pictures to Ms. Feix in C4 for consideration.  Ask your English or art teacher for more information.

TODAY IS THE 3rd WEDNESDAY of the month, so that means it's time for the Santa Clarita Community Group meeting at lunch today in room G-220. Come on by!"

Ordering information is available in the ASB Office NOW!!!  Be prepared to bring your completed order form and down payment on this day.  DON'T FORGET EVERY SENIOR MUST TURN IN THEIR CAP & GOWN SIZES!
