GENERAL
CIF FOOTBALL: Hey Cowboys!!! Cowboy Football has a CIF Playoff game here at Canyon Friday, November 19 @ 7:30. Since this is a post-season game, no ASB cards, Student, Child or Adult are valid. Hart School District Employee ID and Foothill League passes are also not honored. The cost is $8 for Adults and Seniors, and $5 for high school students and children 13 and younger. Our ASB Office is selling them before school, brunches and lunch. Buy your ticket in advance to avoid standing in line Friday night.
CSF MEMBERS: The yearbook photo for CSF (California Scholarship Federation) members will be taken on Thursday, Nov. 18, at 8:00 a.m., on the outdoor stage. Members must pick up a pass today, or Wednesday, in room C8-- at lunch only. No one without a pass will be allowed to leave his/her class Thursday morning and be in the photo.
BOOK CLUB: If you ordered a copy of Hunger Games, please bring $4 to Mrs. Limbaugh in the library and you can pick up your book. Book Club will meet TODAY to discuss In the Path of Falling Objects. We will meet with the author on Tuesday, Nov. 16. We will meet in H1 during lunch. See you there.
CLUB PHOTO DAYS: Thursday the 18th are club photo days. This is your ONE opportunity to have your club photo taken for the yearbook. Photos will be taken at the designated times. If you are late you will not be included in the photo. Please check the photo day schedule with your club advisor or see the schedule on bulletin boards around the school.

HEY COWBOYS!! Looking for a refreshing treat on a hot summer day? EVERY Tuesday after school there will be a Shave-It truck out in the Senior Parking lot from 3-4 p.m. Support the school band and buy some Shave-It!

LIT MAGAZINE MEETING: There is an important lit magazine meeting today at lunch. Please come to C4 to discuss ads, submissions and food day.

STUDENT TASK FORCE: Meets today at lunch in room G-201.

CANYON’S YOUNG WRITERS GROUP will meet on Wednesday at lunch in room A-5.
SENIORS
DIPLOMA NAME FORM: Your Government or Economics teachers will be asking you to complete the Diploma Name Form during class this week. Please print your legal first, middle and last names. This will help to insure the correct spelling on your diploma and the way that it will appear. If you don't receive one, you may pick up the form in the Counseling Office.
CAP & GOWN AND GRADUATION ANNOUNCEMENTS:
SENIORS: You can still order your Cap & Gown, Announcements, and Class Ring. Jostens will be back on campus for a make-up order on……Monday, Nov. 22nd---During Brunches “only”---Outdoor STAGE
Ordering information is available in the ASB Office NOW!!! Be prepared to bring your completed order form and down payment on this day. DON'T FORGET EVERY SENIOR MUST TURN IN THEIR CAP & GOWN SIZES!
