GENERAL
HEALTH OFFICE: Students PLEASE DO NOT call or text your parents from a classroom or on campus to tell them you don’t feel well. GET A PASS FROM YOUR TEACHER TO GO TO THE HEALTH OFFICE. Mrs. Schwamb will call your parents from the Health Office.
CLUB PHOTO DAYS: Monday Nov 15th and Thursday the 18th are club photo days. This is your ONE opportunity to have your club photo taken for the yearbook. Photos will be taken at the designated times. If you are late you will not be included in the photo. Please check the photo day schedule with your club advisor or see the schedule on bulletin boards around the school.
SWIM TEAM TRYOUTS WEDNESDAY!!!
CHOIR FUNDRAISER: TONIGHT Don Cuco's will host a fundraiser for the choirs from 5-9 p.m. You will need to take a flyer in order for the choirs to get credit for your meal. Please come to the choir room or ask a choir student for the flyer. Come and support the choir and have a great dinner at the same time.
HEY COWBOYS!! Looking for a refreshing treat on a hot summer day? EVERY Tuesday after school there will be a Shave-It truck out in the Senior Parking lot from 3-4 p.m. Support the school band and buy some Shave-It!
BASEBALL TRYOUTS held November 22 and 23. See Coach Schulhofer in room B-5 for more information.
SUPPORT THE DANCE TEAM on Wednesdays by eating at Ameci's. Just mention Canyon when you go!
THE LIT MAGAZINE IS STILL ACCEPTING SUBMISSIONS! Please bring your short stories, poems, drawings or pictures to Ms. Feix in C4 for consideration. Ask your English or art teacher for more information.
SAVE the DATE! Saturday, December 4th, CANYON HIGH will be having a Holiday Boutique from 9am to 2pm. The Boutique will be in H-1 and the ROP office. Come join the fun with these great vendors!
MEETINGS
THE LIT MAGAZINE will now be meeting on Tuesdays at lunch in C4. Please join us for a very important meeting today at lunch! Treats will be provided!
ANIME CLUB is meeting today in room G-220.
STUDENT TASK FORCE is meeting in room G-201 TODAY.
OPERATION US: All members need to attend our next meeting on Wednesday November 10th at lunch in E3. We have an upcoming presentation and yearbook related information to share with you. See you this Wednesday at lunch!
OPERATION SMILES: There is a meeting in room F-6 TODAY at lunch.
KEY CLUB: There is a General meeting on November 9 and 10. There will be exec board interviews on November 11 at 7 a.m at Todd Longshore Park.
COMPASSION INTERNATIONAL: There is a meeting November 10 at lunch in U-7.
