BLOOD DRIVE:  Our first blood drive will take place on Thursday, September 30th, in the auxiliary gym.  If you are 16, then you can donate.  Please stop by Ms. King's room, G-105, or look for a student wearing a "got blood" button for paperwork.  Let's save a life Cowboys!!!

JOIN A SUPPORT GROUP!  Support groups meet once a week.  Support groups are small (6 to 13 students) and help student to better deal with their situations.  We have three groups to choose from.  The Conflict Management Group deals with situations in more effective and positive way.  The Family Issues group helps student when there are stresses or changes in the family - for example, new members, divorce or break-ups, losses, or just plain tough situations, etc.  The Peer Relationships groups helps students in their relationships with other teen.  So let a teacher know - and they can e-mail your counselor.  Or let your counselor know.  And they will let Mrs. Trapani know ~ she will call you up so you can learn more.

All Canyon students are reminded that when we have minimum day, they may NOT visit other campuses, including Sierra Vista.  Other schools are in full day session and it is a trespassing violation to be on their campus while their school is in session.  Avoid disciplinary action and a trespassing ticket!  Do not visit other schools when Canyon has a minimum day!

SCHOOL PHOTOS:   Make-up day for school photos is on Wednesday, September 29 in room S-4 (next to the Gym) before school, at brunch, or lunchtime.  Notice, this is a minimum day.  The photographers will be available at the end of your day when you're leaving to go home if you did not take them before school or at brunch.
