GENERAL
STUDENT ID CARDS: Anyone who has not gotten an ID card for this school year must go to the textbook center to get one. Please bring your copy of your schedule with you. The textbook center is open to make ID's during brunch, lunch and after school until 3:30.
SATURDAY’S MOCK SAT offered by Revolution Prep has been canceled. We will offer another test in September, so stay tuned!
YES, YOUTH EMPLOYMENT SERVICES program with the City of
CSF - Applications for CSF (California Scholarship Federation) will be available from TODAY AND TOMORROW in room C8, at lunch only. Remember that CSF business will not be handled at any other time of the day.
STUDENT PARKING: ANY student that parks in a reserved parking spot (with a name on it), Staff parking or by the football field/track—WILL RECEIVE A $40.00 TICKET!
STUDENT PARKING PERMITS: Only seniors may buy from 8/16 - 8/27
Passes are open to all juniors starting 8/30 $20. Pick up paperwork outside ASB office, parent signature, and proof of registration and insurance.
ALL STUDENTS that have an open period or an athletics/ROTC/extracurricular activity will need their ID to reflect this. These are new instructions to process your ID.
Please go to the Assistant Principals Office:
Students that have their schedule may get an open sticker instantly as time permits.
Students who do not have their schedule can drop their ID off at the AP Office at brunch. The first 150 turned in will be processed and ready for pick up at that same location during lunch.
If you have an athletics or extracurricular activity, you must present your completed Release from Athletic P.E./Extra Curricular Activities form that you received from your coach or teacher to receive your sticker.
Blank forms are located in the AP office on the counter.
ATTENTION STUDENTS: Please be aware that the cost of printing from the library computers is now $.15 per page. This will take effect immediately. Please bring exact change.
BASKETBALL TRYOUTS: For both Boys and Girls will be held at lunch is TODAY in both gyms. Any questions ask Coach Cooper in room B-8 or Coach Phillips in G-116.
GIRLS VOLLEYBALL: Any girl interested in trying out for the girls volleyball team needs to come to the gym TODAY at lunch dressed and ready to play.
BOYS AND GIRLS SOCCER TRYOUTS: Are TODAY through Friday, August 20 at
ROP: Any student who is taking an ROP class this semester must see Mrs. Gaines in the ROP office ASAP. You must pick up your enrollment form. ROP classes start the week of August 16, 2010
HEALTH OFFICE: Students PLEASE DO NOT call or text your parents from a classroom or on campus to tell them you don’t feel well. GET A PASS FROM YOUR TEACHER TO GO TO THE HEALTH OFFICE. Mrs. Schwamb will call your parents from the Health Office.
MEETINGS
MATH CLUB will be meeting TODAY at lunch in G-201 (Mr. Jackson's room).
THESPIAN SOCIETY: There will be a meeting TODAY at lunch in the Q-Theatre. There are MANY exciting new opportunities in the society this year. Don't miss it!
SENIORS
SAT CLASSES STARTING AUGUST 28th-- Seniors! It's time to get those SAT scores up for college applications! Juniors- get started early! Revolution Prep will hold an SAT prep class here on campus starting August 28th taught by our very own Ms. Jones. Questions? Visit revolutionprep.com or stop by to see her in E5 as soon as you can!
