HEY COWBOYS!! Spring Spirit is right around the corner!!

FRIDAY: Cowboy Pride Day, Student Talent Rally and Powder Puff game
TUTORING TUESDAYS is happening this week in the library. Come to the library after school on Tuesday and get help in all your subjects. Math, English, Econ, Spanish, and Social Studies help is available. Hang out with your friends, study, use the computers, and improve your grades. We'll see you Tuesday in the library after school.
CHOIR AUDITIONS--If you are interested in being in one of the awesome choirs here at Canyon, you must audition. Sign up for an audition on the choir room door. You need to have an audition time assigned so that you can audition. You don't want to miss out on this great opportunity.
DANCE TEAM AUDITIONS FOR 2010-11 ARE HERE!! On Saturday, May 22, bring your parent/guardian at 10 a.m. to the main gym. Ms. Soto will meet with parents while New World Dance holds auditions. Auditions will last until 11 or noon. Dress appropriately, bring water! Any questions, see Ms. Soto asap!!
ATTENTION COWBOYS!! Compassion International Club and Key Club will be holding an ice skating fundraiser at the Valencia Ice Station on Saturday, May 22, from 7:00-9:15 p.m. Tickets will be on sale for $12 in U-7, Ms. Goodwin’s room, until Friday, May 21. Key clubbers will receive one hour for coming and an additional hour for donating $10 to our well project. Bring your friends and have some fun by ice skating to give hope to a village in Africa!
COME OUT AND WATCH YOUR JUNIOR AND SENIOR GIRLS battle it out on the football field. Powder Puff is May 21. The game starts at 6:00 and it is $2.00 to get in… Don’t forget to bring money for Pizza and Juice It Up!!
MEETINGS
HEY KEY CLUBBERS: There is a general meeting on Tuesday, May 18. Don’t forget to wear your Key Club Shirt. Seniors please go to V-1 to see if you are eligible for sashes.
SENIORS
SENIORS: Do you owe any textbooks, library books, fines or delinquencies? All textbooks and library books must be turned in and fines paid by Thursday, May 27th. All fines and delinquencies must be paid in cash, no checks. Your senior activities may be restricted if you have not cleared your accounts. If you have any questions or concerns check with Mrs. Kulesz in the textbook center or Ms. Rehder in the ASB office.
SCHOLARSHIP: Are you planning a major in college like public relations, advertising, marketing, graphic arts, journalism, ration, TV, or film? The Santa Clarita Valley Press Club has a scholarship for you. Applications are due May 24th. Please pick one up in the counseling office if interested.
ANY SENIOR wishing to audition for Senior Speaker for Graduation should sign up in Assistant Principals Office and pick up a speech/audition information sheet. Please do this as soon as possible. Audition sign-ups will end TODAY. Auditions will be on the morning of May 21.
Sign up early to get the audition time of your choice!! If you have any questions, please see Mr. Getz in the AP office.
SENIORS! Do you still want to go to Grad Night?? Well it’s not too late. Tickets are on sale for $100 in the front of the ASB Office. Remember to buy them before May 21!! Don’t miss out on ALLTHE FUN!
ATTENTION ALL NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY MEMBERS: hours sheets and $15 for senior sashes are due on May 18th.
