GENERAL
TUTORING TUESDAYS is happening this week in the library. Come to the library after school on Tuesday and get help in all your subjects. Math, English, Econ, Spanish, and Social Studies help is available. Hang out with your friends, study, use the computers, and improve your grades. We'll see you Tuesday in the library after school.
ARE YOU LOOKING FOR AN EVENING FULL OF MUSIC AND FUN? Then come to Jazz/Pop this Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in the CHS Gym. Tickets are $5 with your ASB Card and $7 without. We hope to see you there!!
ROP CLASSES AUG 2010: ANY STUDENT WHO WOULD LIKE TO SIGN UP FOR AN ROP CLASS STARTING IN THE FALL OF 2010 NEEDS TO GO SEE MRS. OKRONICK NOW
LIMO DRAWING: Do you want to go to the Prom in a limo? Well now is your chance---buy a ticket from any ASB member. Tickets are $2.00 each. You and 8 to 10 friends can win a limo to and from Prom. Buy your tickets now!

SAFE RIDES: Students you can save a life by volunteering only one night a month. Safe Rides is holding a volunteer training on March 27th at the City Activity Center from 10am to 3pm. Volunteers must be between the age of 15 and 18. For more information go to www.scvsaferides.com.

CANYON HIGH SCHOOL will host Parent Shadow Day on March 25, 2010 from 7:30 AM - 12:30 PM. If your parents or guardians are interested in attending the event, please RSVP with Ms. Haro in the AP's office.
AND THE NOMINEES ARE………JAZZ/POP!! That’s right!! Canyon’s biggest show featuring singing, dancing and acting is next week! This is an award-winning performance—You don’t want to miss it.

NHS MEMBERS, there is a dance marathon committee meeting TODAY at lunch in room G-105. All members are welcome!
SENIORS
SENIORS: Are you thinking about becoming a teacher? The SCV Education Foundation is awarding $13,000 to students who are planning to enter the education field. So far only 3 students have applied for this scholarship! Please take advantage of this opportunity. The application is due April 1st. To get the application and more information, go to the school website and follow the scholarship link. If you need help, please see Miss Atkin in the counseling office.
Scholarships: If you participated in the Santa Clarita Valley Athletic Association in Track and Field, Cross Country, Football, or cheerleading for three or more years, there is a $1500 scholarship that could be yours. Please come to the counseling office for a scholarship application. Applications are due April 16th.
