GENERAL

CIF FOOTBALL PLAYOFFS:  Hey Cowboys----Come on out TONIGHT to Moorpark High School for round one of CIF Football playoffs!!  Tickets are on sale in the ASB Office until noon today.  $ 8.00 for adults, $5.00 for children 13 and under.  If you show your Canyon ID the tickets are $5.00.  KICKOFF IS AT 7:00 P.M.

CROSS COUNTRY: Saturday, November 21-- CIF FINALS @ Mt. Sac TBA—BEST OF LUCK TO: Thomas McGuan, Michel Noris, Tyler Tockstein, Chris Low, Mason Bouchet, Joe Pineda, Timothy Gonzales, Sam Willis, Jacob Becerra.

STUDENT TASK FORCE is collecting signatures during lunch TODAY to show support for the Convention on the Right of the Child.  The petitions will be mailed to the Secretary of State Clinton and Senator Boxer.

JUNIORS & SENIORS:  Beginning next semester, there will be a Concierge (kon-see-airzh) Desk in the main office where a student service will greet and direct people to the appropriate department or person within the main office. The counselors are currently looking for just the right students to fill these positions. If you think you would make a fabulous office host, please see your counselor to be considered for one of the few spots available.

BASEBALL TRY-OUTS will be held November 23 and 24 from 3 to 5 pm.  See Coach Schulhofer in B-5 to sign up.

INTRAMURAL SOCCER sign ups are taking place in room C-5 at both brunches and at lunch! Sign up with your team or sign up on your own, and we will get you on a team! 

CSF MEMBERS: If you would like to pick up the volunteer-hours sheet in order to begin getting signatures for the ten hours due in January, come to room C8 at lunch on Thursday or Friday of this week.  Forms will be handed out at no other time.

CHOIR FUNDRAISER:  Come to UNA MAS TODAY from 5-10 p.m. Mention Choirs when you order.

ATTENTION ALL CANYON DRIVERS- We have 50 spots in the student parking lot available.  If you would like a parking permit pick up the paperwork outside of the ASB office.  You will need proof of current registration and insurance, $20, and the school paperwork.  First come, first served!
