SUPPLEMENTAL PROGRESS REPORTS: If you would like to receive a supplemental progress report, please see Mrs. Hettema in the Counseling Office between 7:30am and 8:00am Friday morning to pick one up.
OPERATION US: Permission slips for Tuesday's training day are due by TODAY October 2nd at 1pm. Bring your completed permission slips to Ms. Mast in E3 or Mr. Ballard in A7. Time is running out, please get your slips in A.S.A.P.!
HOMECOMING WEEK: Are you ready for Homecoming week? Are you ready to get crazy? Then don’t forget that Monday is crazy hair day. Tuesday is twin day, Wednesday is stoplight day, wear red if you’re taken, yellow if you’re “seeing” someone and green if you’re single and ready to mingle!! Thursday is Superhero day and Friday is White Tee Day! Don’t be afraid to show your school spirit and let’s make this the best week ever! And remember costumes are NOT mandatory for the dance.
DO YOU LOVE TO RIDE HORSES? Are you a true Cowboy at heart? Do you know what an "equestrian" is? If so, come to our informational meeting Wed, 10/7 at lunchtime in H1 to get all the information on Canyon's Equestrian Club and meet our great new advisor!!!
HOMECOMING: Are you ready for “A Heroic Night?” Then come to the Homecoming Dance on October 10. Tickets are now on sale! $15 with an ASB Card, $17 without and $20 at the door. We hope to see you all there!!
CAREER CENTER NEWS
COC will host a Job and Career Fair on Saturday, October 10 from 10 - 1 at the Santa Clarita Activities Center, located at 20880 Centre Pointe Parkway. Dress for success and bring your resume! Stop by the Career Center for additional information.
PREVIEW DAY AT CAL STATE EAST BAY: Cal State East Bay, located in Hayward, will host a campus Preview Day on Saturday, Oct. 24. Students and parents will learn about academic programs, take campus tours and attend presentations on admission and financial aid. Register at www.csueastbay.edu/previewday or stop by the Career Center for additional information.
INTRODUCTION TO BROWN: Admissions representatives from Brown University will host information meetings on Sun., Oct. 18 in Claremont and Mon., Oct. 19 in Los Angeles. Stop by the Career Center for details.
